Hey there..I want to start trying my hand at hydro... what's a good starter setup for 2 plants
That's wet yeah not dryMy last grow in a recirculating deep water culture system I got 36 ounces from 3 plants. 14 ounces each from two of them and 8 ounces from the third (was a different strain to the other two and had a few problems with it early on!). Across the last 6 grows in dwc I would say an average of 8/9 ounces

Its because its easierjust throwing a spanner in the works here but how can anybody look past coco? all the major producers i know are using it, i bet most of what you smoke in dispensaries are grown in coco, there is a reason for that.
Most dwc hydro systems need daily maintenance... even if its just to check water levels, ph, ec etc. Atleast if you want a perfect run.I went dwc for my first hydro and haven't looked back. Very simple and doesn't need checked every single day if you're busy like I am.
Once they get bigger maybe check water levels. Once the pH levels out it usually doesn't need checked every day. Most dwc hydro systems need daily maintenance... even if its just to check water levels, ph, ec etc. Atleast if you want a perfect run.
Soil or coco on a timed drip, drain to waste, is very hassle free...
Theres a reason I always have atleast one dwc girl every grow. Been doing 1 soil 1 dwc and letting them get 5ft. Its very manageable.
Hydro is a science, which makes it easier to dial a plant in if you dont know much about growing.Yea I work a lot..I just don't see how it is less work lol I heard buds are more light green and frosty in hydro
