Dime bag lived in mansfield tx.. I'm from Arlington, my brother worked at a Hollywood video and they came in all the time.. my brother has tons of dime bag signed shit.. Pantera reminds me of a bad ass garage band from back in the day... they are so polular in my part of the state.. pantera and drowning pool.
Yeah, when that dimebag or diamond Darell stuff went down, it was a hard pill to swallow. I'm gonna say the early 90's was my favorite era of music. I was into the Seattle Bands and alternative music big time. Also metal, and had a friend who was into Death Metal. My fav was not Pantera. It was Alice in Chains. Lead singer dude was a mess. Then there was also Stone Temple Pilots. I was a rocker guitarist and me and my friends played all that shit. Black crows you name it. Also was popping pills and doing some LSD back then. Then there was the lead singer of Blind Melon. Dude wasted his brain and melted down OD. Kurt Cobain shot himself. Loved Pearl Jam too. Man, that whole era was a mess. kinda like 60's and early 70's. Hendrix was king. Did anyone know that Van Halen learned music on the piano?

First album. Frampton Comes Alive. Peter Frampton, 70's im sure. Never saw the concert tho.

So? What happened to Pantera after Dimebag. The band "Hell Yeah". Google it. I kept up with the band for a little while after and also "Black Label Society". Zakk Wild did a really good tribute song for Darell. Called "In this River". Nirvana became the foo fighters. Meh.

rolling stones 81'

That might have been the first time I drove while drunk.

It was right around 1981 and RS played in Detroit and the whole concert was live on the radio...yep,,,,that shit never caught on but the stones did it once here. Well we partied it up like there was no tomorrow and by the time the stones hit the stage, we were wasted. I hop in my car and headed on home listening to the stones on the radio and trying to follow the bumper of car in front of mine--thank god people did not have cell phones back then, my turns were awful...i prayed if I made it home safety--which I did--that I never drive drunk again....I think to this day I never drove that drunk again,.the stones helped me get home, ha ha ,,I had the radio on so loud

Depeche Mode. Early 90's at the old Montreal Forum.

The concert was great, but the highlight of the evening was the staggering amount of hot women in attendance. Taco party. :eyesmoke:
DM in '88(might have been '87) at shoreline ampitheater. And yup, I went with all the girls I wanted to have sex with. I didn't get laid. Killer show though.

Me and 2 other buddies split around a half ounce of boomers and drove 2 hours through a blizzard to see STS9. I traded some dude that looked like jack black some mushrooms for a roll in line.

first concert Queen Boston 1976 opened my eyes. Just the whole Boston thing was an eye opener but the concert w/drugs was outstanding and I have been a fan ever since. However a little story, got married 1978 then separated for a year. During that year I was working in Burlington, MA and they announced that Pink Floyd at Nassau Coliseum on the radio so right then and there my boss and I went to Jordan Marsh to buy tickets, no line just walk up and buy tickets. Now there was this girl at work who had big you know whats so I asked her if she wanted to go. Well we made plans and all was fine till I was in the process of getting back together w/wife and remembered the concert. Wife said that I could still go and take girl but I knew if I did that I would be in trouble. I gave the girl both tickets and said have a good time, I had just gotten into PF so I didn't know what I was missing. I do now
