3 600 watt room construction questions

swim is planning on a 10x5 room. three 600 watt hoods in a line grow space will only be 9x3.5 exrta room is for walking space. first not sure if there should be multiple passive intake vents like a grow tent or if it would be easier to just get a intake fan. and if going with the intake fan what cfms should the intake and exhaust be?. The room will be a corner of a room. what would be the easiest/cheapest ways to construct. Thinking it would be easiest to to use the existing two walls as compared to building a giant box. would the frame need plywood or just panda film for the wall. not sure how easy panda film would be to work with when trying to light proof the room. Feel like im rambling thanks for any help

somewhat the same in the situation im taklking about thats why 2x4 frames would be built possible sides attactched using anchors... well they probably not called anchors but metal brackests that hold 2x4a

Using existing walls will save you a lot of money. I've used non-rigid materials for walls before and what I found is that if you have any negative pressure it really sucks the material in towards the grow. This is important if you have resistance from intake filters.

Are you getting 6" hoods or 8"?

Most of the posts I've read say that passive intake is the best.

If you use the existing walls, find your studs and lag in a 2x2 for the top so you have some framing to lay the top peice of plywood on the wall side.

I think it's important to frame it out...2x2 or 2x4, your choice. I would never use 2x2's but only because I believe in overkill...lol
Think about this: When you need to mount power strips, fans, even the hoods...you will regret not framing your space out. And absolutely true on JS's comment about the negative pressure too.

Nothing wrong with overkill when it comes to something like that. It sucks having to back out work in the case on unexpected results

I made my last smaller growspot out of panda film n PVC.... saves TONS vs. wood.... i may be guilty of a taboo using PVC, but.... works well...

Light frame out of 2x4's vs. whole frame.... all u need is one solid beam down the middle...
