It's been done to death in the growing section of this site.

FLIR CANNOT DETECT CANNABIS PLANTS DIRECTLY.
well then i guess youre safe then. dope plants cannot be distinguished by their riflective signature at all, and your dope plantrs are invidsible to the Po Pos in choppers.

when i see that Nova special on california's dope eradication program again, ill shout at the screen and call them liars when they show the FLIR screen with dope plants jumpin out like they were painted neon colours.

cuz you know, some potheads say it cant work, despite several years of practical operation, and the scholarly report i cited earlier.

*sigh*

Cool story, farm hand.

Don't leave trash & listen to Barry Cooper. I have only a couple of KY friends who ran into the shitty arm of the law; because they were either: A. stupid ...or B. littering. It's not that hard, don't advertise your personal business. KY is the highest producing illegal state for a reason- 'Bubba po-po' is not very keen on finding anything he doesn't trip over first.

remember when you said prison is easy here in the us, and having never been in an American cell?.
Prison is easy here. And comparatively its way easier. It could actually be argued pretty easily that an american prison is better than being on the street in about 75% countries in the world.

And yes ive been to prison. Closed custody, behind the walls.
I gained 40 pounds, ate cheetoes everyday, made burritoes, watched cable TV and got paid to teach low lifes how to read past a 3rd grade level so I could get out of the cell a few hours.
totally caught up on my road rules episodes and got in all the reruns of friends.
You know whats hilarious? 300 murderers thiefs and scumbags all clapping together at 3pm when the friends intro is playing.

If it was up to me we'd have been breaking rocks at the least. but i got a pussy free vacation instead. oh and if you are gay theres no reason to ever leave a US prison.

Yes, you are correct. The Kentucky outdoor marijuana eradication does not use infrared. Trust me, I am correct
on this. They use highly trained spotters in the air. In this area we have the National Guard, KSP, DEA, US Marshalls,
HIDTA ( an appalachian drug task force ) and even local sheriffs riding in choppers pointing out known growers homes
to help them out. Unless you are from Ky, you really wouldnt know. Its not uncommon to wake up at 9:30 am and your
house vibrating and look outside and the bubble choppers (black, very small and can manuver anywhere literally) hoover
as low as to 15 feet from your vegetable garden just looking for plants.

They fly so hard and desperate here i've literally walked out on my porch and could have straight eye contact with the
chopper operator. This is not bullshit, this is reality here in Ky. To be honest, last year they got desperate enough to hoover
over potential areas and 3 or 4 task force members would repel down and walk miles throughout the woods just looking
for it. Seen that with my own eyes too... They were walking the edge of my grandmothers farm fields.

I'm just curious as to how to grow here and get by with enough to pay a few bills, help raise a family and have enough
herb to smoke on because it seems fucking impossible. My old dealer gets his stash from a man that gets by with almost
a hundred lbs a year. How? I have no idea and he is an old ass man. Im very physically fit and would like to at least get by
with a few lbs ya know, but its hard you have to pretty much grow in the shade. Ive done lst but that doesnt seem to help
from aerial view, only passerbys. I know some people can get a lb or over per plant but thats a big ass plant and this is not
Nor Cal, you just cant grow monster plants here. If someone can, please inform me on how this can be done? Most people
I think grows small plants 2ft wide hole by 2 ft deep. Sometimes much smaller, but they put out many many plants to
achieve the results they get, smaller plants mean less visble from above.

I mean shit, is there not anyone on this thread that could help a fellow Ky grower out? There has to be. How in the
hell do you do it??? Whats the secret? PM me if you dont want to go public with it, I just need some insight here, its so damn
frustrating, a serious serious matter that everyone seems to want to joke about or ramble about. Why can't there just be a
Ky thread so we can start beating the choppers like they beat us???
im from KY and i know what u are talking about..i know this is a old post but i figured i would chime in..i dont think they use infrared bc if they did they would have found mine in 2013..they flew right over my plots and never spotted them..i only put 2-3 plants per plot sometimes just single plants and spread them out..they look for patterns, trails, large outdoor operations with like 25+ plants per plot and most of all snitches that call in on u around here..they dont start flying till around mid to end of august so u could do autos and have everthing in way before the rippers or cops even start looking for them, but i dont personally do autos..i like 15-20 oz plants and grow like 10 of those and u are set for the year to pay bills..they are after all the meth heads and pill dealers these days around here ...what strains have u had success with here man? last year was rainy as hell here in eastern ky and only thing that didnt have some form of bud rot was the delahaze..i got a new line up this year thats all been tried and proven strains at higher lats and in UK like biddy early, frisein dew, sweet purple, serious 6,early skunk, blueberry headband and the church just to name a few..here is a couple links i found on the eradication of marijuana in KY

Not many do.. I had to experience it myself. Some of the nicest people I ever met doing home health. I'd have lunch cooked for me and daughters to meet. I loved it there. But also some of the craziest.

I was going to one home in Hyden and got stopped at the road with a man holding a shotgun asking what business I had ther. I broke hipaa and told him exactly who, why and where I was going. He said oh. How nice and gave me directions. I knew what he was doing. They don't play in Hazard county.
Sounds like just the place for me!

The choppers don't find shit that someone don't tip em off to. Got away for 2 years straight, had em fly straight over a couple 7-8 ft tall monsters without even hesitating. Then the year I came away with a shit ton and had some to get rid of all of a sudden the very next season the little spotter chopper starts buzzin by the crib early one morning and then BAM here comes the big double bay chopper with fatigued out LEO's that repel down on my shit. Fucked up thing is the plants-2 blue dream- weren't even 2 footers at the time! Still WAYY early in the year (late may)- and that brings me to another point; a previous poster said they don't start flying till mid/end of August over in eastern KY....well in my neck of the woods-So. Central KY- they start flying around the end of April thru May and into June. Take a break in July and come back toward the end of August for about a week. But point being, there was no way they just out of the blue flew over and spotted those two plants just out of sheer luck/coincidence. One of my so called buddies prolly got hip to the fact I was growing and ran his mouth.
Anyway, my best tip is to find 3 well lit locations. Put 4 holes in each one or one giant bed, and put 4 plants in each plot.
(as you probably already know 4 plants = misdemeanor, 5 plants = felony).
12 plants, in good well lit location that get plenty of water and ferts through the season will get ya a respectable amount of bud.
Plus splitting up your locations keeps you from putting all your eggs in one basket.
