The OP did ask what the best way not to be caught in Hicksville USA (where marijuana laws are strict, like here) was.
I replied with tell noone and let noone know (which I meant put your lights, etc inside a box, don't carry them openly when moving).
Then ultraviolet gimp went all full retard and he missed the point that the only way not to get caught is by telling noone, regardless of geographical location.

harrekin, do you know the OP is growing outdoors? taking lights to your guerrilla grow, that's on national forest, even if you told no one, is still gonna look suspicious. where are you gonna find an extension cord long enough? this is why I say you talk out of the side of your neck.

nah bro, hes talking the airborne search for kentucky's notorious outdoor grows.
KY used to be fuill of hemp farms, and the shit grows wild out there (mostly ditchweed though) and the KY mountain folk still do moonshining, to some extent, but growing cannabis is the new plan.
Kentucky is farm country, and some farmers are so up against the ropes that growing dope seems like the only way to pay off the bank and tax man.

nah see the dea uses Forward Looking Infra Red cameras and other high tech gadgets to pick your dope out of the corn or tobacco fields, locate hotspots from indoor growrooms and otherwise make a nuisance of themselves
i believe the OP was hoping for specifics on whether the DEA's budget for "eradication" had been cut through the sequester, but nah, schools libraries and firehouses can shut down by the bucketful, but not one step back on dope eradication or the glorious "War On Drugs... cuz if you get high, the terrorists win.

on this. They use highly trained spotters in the air. In this area we have the National Guard, KSP, DEA, US Marshalls,
HIDTA ( an appalachian drug task force ) and even local sheriffs riding in choppers pointing out known growers homes
to help them out. Unless you are from Ky, you really wouldnt know. Its not uncommon to wake up at 9:30 am and your
house vibrating and look outside and the bubble choppers (black, very small and can manuver anywhere literally) hoover
as low as to 15 feet from your vegetable garden just looking for plants.
They fly so hard and desperate here i've literally walked out on my porch and could have straight eye contact with the
chopper operator. This is not bullshit, this is reality here in Ky. To be honest, last year they got desperate enough to hoover
over potential areas and 3 or 4 task force members would repel down and walk miles throughout the woods just looking
for it. Seen that with my own eyes too... They were walking the edge of my grandmothers farm fields.
I'm just curious as to how to grow here and get by with enough to pay a few bills, help raise a family and have enough
herb to smoke on because it seems fucking impossible. My old dealer gets his stash from a man that gets by with almost
a hundred lbs a year. How? I have no idea and he is an old ass man. Im very physically fit and would like to at least get by
with a few lbs ya know, but its hard you have to pretty much grow in the shade. Ive done lst but that doesnt seem to help
from aerial view, only passerbys. I know some people can get a lb or over per plant but thats a big ass plant and this is not

I think grows small plants 2ft wide hole by 2 ft deep. Sometimes much smaller, but they put out many many plants to
achieve the results they get, smaller plants mean less visble from above.
I mean shit, is there not anyone on this thread that could help a fellow Ky grower out? There has to be. How in the

FLIR also can record the differences in IR reflection between different species of plants in daylight, allowing the DEA and local PO PO to single out dope plants from the air. thats how they find the deep gully grows in the san gabriel mountains, and in the sierras.FLIR only detects differences in heat, they can't pick up outdoor grows bro
FLIR can totally pick out your dope plants. thats why they use it.
youre thinking of Thermal Imaging which is totally different. FLIR uses mostly near infrared, while thermal imaging is all about far infrared.

california narcs have been using FLIR for years, and a dope plant stands out like a neon sign through FLIR (properly calibrated of course) due to it's unique reflected spectrum when compared to the surrounding foliage, especially in daylight.

thermal imaging can detect the soils disturbance from the planting, when compared to the local native foliage
and of course spotters looking for the peculiar shape and colour with the Mark One Eyeball technology.

That's why it's FLIR, it displays heat differences as different colours, visible light spectrum is what you have binoculars for
