I was just wondering if there are any people willing to share seeds? I have some Indica seeds but I'd love to have a couple of Sativa seeds to try growing. Anyone want to trade?

it is illegal to posses mj seeds. Illeagal to trade and sell too. It would just bring up problems that the govnt could bitch about and take this site to court. Look at the other sites that went down like overgrow.com

I like sharing flower seeds and starts. It's a great way to expand your garden.

Sorry, off topic, but seed sharing can be good.

I can understand them not wanting seed sharing going on within the site. It's most likely a legal thing. Cops have lots of sneaky ways to screw people over. I know I for one wouldn't want them having a reason to shut the site down.

Heck, one of my sisters filled out her whole garden by gifted starts, splits, and seeds. It's all filled in now after about six years or so, gorgeous. Of course, it helps that she gets this great Bay Area weather, too.

I don't know enough about landscape gardening. If I could just stick corals around the property I could grow the hell out of them. Giant clams, gorgonians, and other inverts. Yeah.. but, that kinda requires a little more water than what we've got. And it's gotta be salty.

I've been told day lilies will grow in just about anything, I've gotta get me somma dem. I think some of my very expensive irises are goners, fucking cat. (one of them I paid $20 for)

Iris' are rhizomes, you don't bury them all the way. The bottom half of the rhizome is under the soil with the top half sticking out. I know it seems wierd, but it's how they work. The mistake a lot of people make is they bury them all the way and then they rot.

Daylily's are really easy to grow and they spread pretty fast. The ones with the orange blooms grow on the sides of the roads here.

That autumn Sedum I was talking about is a succulent. Easy to grow, if you break some off you just stick it in the ground. Butterflies love that stuff when it blooms too.

Are you planting in sun or shade?

echinacea (purple coneflower) is the word you are looking for.

I have purple and yellow coneflowers I think there is a white variety too, but I don't have those :( They need a lot of sun, so do the daisy's, black eyed susans are good too, but also need a lot of sun.

I love flowers........
