First it was the hot. Now its the fuckin cold. FML

Smokin herb, smoking herb everday. It helps to make my day better than okay !!

Actually when you 1st get to the burn unit your hurtin like a bitch , once they get things going they hook you up to iv's & inject you as much as you want & thats no shit , you get a special pain doc & mine told me that if i wanted more all i had to do was ask , when they start scrubbing the dead skin off they strap you down & the drugs are flowing where your very near od'ing , the very second they stopped peeling my back i passed the fuk out.

Next they throw your ass into a metal hot tub filled with hot swirling water thats got small pellets in the water , its like being sandblasted , no matter how bad ass you are you'll sound like a woman screaming in that whirlpool .

Then they take you every day & lay you under uv lamps that are hot as fuk & lube you down from head to toe with silverdine cream like a giant dildo .

The skin grafts hurt worse than the burns .

After my stint at the Regional Burn Center I went to the ER. One of the ER doc's took me aside to query why I was allowing my patient's to scream. I broke down when I realized I couldn't hear patient's screaming anymore. I am sorry for your suffering, you went through hell. I merely visited.

I can't say I feel your pain completely but I was in a grease fire melted my left had half way to elbow which was 3rd degree and 2nd degree on face and legs I was out of work for 6 months I had a finger amputated when a Co worker started a car on me I was out for 4 months, I am partially blind as a fire cracker blew up literally in my eye., my eyes black out sometimes. And yeah

Sorry to hear what you went thru .You know our pain , you've been thru the burn unit ,the pain from the scrubbing & peeling away dead flesh , the dreaded weekly visits back to the burn unit & having your arm dunked in the hot ass whirlpool , you have had to be in assloads of pain especially with the 2nd degree areas cause they hurt worse than 3rd or 4th degree , your pain had to equal mine so I'm sure you can relate 100% .

How'd you like that whirlpool that they put your arm in ? They had to strap me into it because I kept jumping out & they couldn't treat me .

I feel ya on the missing fingers too , I had 4th degree on one finger where the meat was fully cooked & fell from the bone ,they had to amputate leaving me with a 1/2 inch stub & a 2nd finger they amputated between 1'st & 2'd knuckle , I was getting alot better with my guitar playing before the accident ,afterwards I tried using prosthetic fingers like Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi does where his fingers were amputated & I couldn't make them work , I have no clue how Tony has played so well the last 40 yrs with home made prosthetic fingers .

My lawyer wanted me to sue & use my loss of ability to play guitar to ask for an additional $750,000 over what my settlement was but I didn't sue , I coulda got about 2 or 3 million back then but it didn't feel right sueing friends over an accident so I took a smaller settlement .
Did you end up with a decent settlement to cover expenses ? loss of body parts & suffering ? Hopefully you got taken care of for the burns , suffering , loss of limb & lessened quality of life .

How have your injuries effected your life since everything healed , are you still in pain bro ?

oh my god you were eating 5 oc80s a day? are you still on them? do they give you the shit ops? i hate how they remade that shit i just want the old ones back they were my favorite drug ever

At my worst pain levels I was prescribed 5 80 mg oxycontin, 3 30 mg oxycodone( Roxy ) , 3 200 mg nycuntia & 3 200 mg lyrica , my spinal cord injury changes my pain levels from day to day , every 90 days I'd get 240 ml of Tussinex syrup ( liquid hydrocodone ) as well .

Right now I'm prescribed 90 80 mg oxy op's , 90 8 mg instant release dilaudid & 90 100 mg lyrica per month , some days I'm ok where I don't even need to eat the oxy's or dilaudid & can get by with the non narcotic lyrica , other days I have to take all 9 pills in order to numb the pain where I can function , every once in a while even those high strength meds won't help & I have to go to hospital where they knock me out with pk's .

My wife gets demerol injections I give her instead of oxycontin & it works better for her , I'm trying to get pain management to switch me over from 80 mg oxycontin to 25 mg demerol injections cause oxy does very little for me anymore , with the new DEA ruling it's doubtful .

The happiest lady in my neighborhood has no hair, missing most of both ears, most of her fingers, etc, etc. 3rd degree burns over some 70% of her body. Car accident.

Her outdoor vegetable garden is huge and beautiful and she always has a smile on her face and a kind word.

Her husband helps her do the things she can't, which I'm sure runs into a long list.

And she volunteers for SAINT, helping others!

I have trouble talking to her because I get this huge lump in my throat Every Time I see her.

I wish there was something I could do.

For me no , most days it does nothing for the pain but it does have an effect on my tolerance of pain , my left leg is on fire with shooting pain down to my foot for the last 10 yrs or so , sometimes smoking a jibber just puts me in a mind set where I block out the burning leg pain & I don't take any narcotics , other days I could smoke a lb & it does nothing .

My wife now is different where mj is a blessing from God , she has a very aggressive from of Multiple Sclerosis & Dimensia ,she has lotsa nerve pain , the entire left half of her brain is covered in legions that cause severe tremors where she shakes so hard I can barely hold her & she only weighs a frail 110 lbs against my 220 lbs , smoking helps her alot , no it's saved her life !

Our retired guard dog named hoss is her helper dog & at her side 24 hrs a day & sleeps with her too ,he's developed a 6th sense when her tremors are gonna come , he'll start barking & lays his big head in her lap till I can get to her , if I can get her smoking right away & some medibles in her fast enough the pot takes about 90% of the tremors away ,sometimes the pot will stop her from even having the tremor at all , especially during nights .

It helps her confusion from the Dimensia as well , she'll start crying & telling me to get her husband for her , she don't recognize me , I get her a hard hitting med cookie & a few tokes to calm her down & within about 5 minutes it's like her eyes brighten up ,she gives me a beautiful smile , then she'll say my name & start crying knowing she don't have to be afraid anymore because she knows I'm there for her , without pot I'm not sure I could care for her in the home by myself anymore .

Once we discovered the dog was warning us of upcoming tremors I had the dog start sleeping with her in my spot on the bed while I sleep on the day bed on the other side of the room so I can watch her, he'll jump off her bed & claw the shit outta me to wake me up & then hop back up & stand guard over her till I can get her woke up & smoking one puff after another , he even knows when she's used enough cause he stops guarding her & lays back down so I can put her back to bed , after she's fell back to sleep I watch the dogs eye's , once he's satisfied the tremors won't come he closes his eyes & then I can go lay back down & get some sleep .

Before her using mj the tremors were so bad we had an in home nurse for her & she was injected with muscle relaxants & lorazepam in high dose & her doctor telling me to think about putting her in a home , fuck that shit , it took me a while to figure out how to treat her with mj and it's given me my wife back , her doctor is even impressed how much her life has improved & agrees that the best place for her is with me in her home , I get on my knees & thank god for what marijuana has done for my wife & she thanks Allah 5 times a day in her prayers .

Your all ready doing something bro , just interacting with her helps her more than you know , people avoid people like her & my wife .

We used to have lotsa friends stop by & hang at our place till my wife got visibly I'll & the Multiple Sclerosis started eating away at her body , now we've only got 3 friends who seem comfortable around my wife & visit or ask us to their home , her disease reminds them of their own mortality so they avoid her , she lights right up & turns into the perfect hostess when our remaining friends come by & it helps her feel better about herself & her disease .

Your all ready doing good things for her brother , sometimes a simple handshake or a hug is the best medicine & sounds like your aware she needs contact , good on you bro for real .

My first experience with the healing power of cannabis was a dear friend in college who had bone cancer in his leg. He'd be in grimacing pain, dry heaves sick... Sharing a bowl or two with him would immediately improve his pain, his outlook... and he'd be hungry.

Oh yeah the whirl pool, the sanding sc aping was dreadful. I am sure I shed a tear possibly. We don't have a burn unit in sc anymore so I was airlifted to the Georgia burn unit. They did an amazing job. Unfortunately the grease burn was my own fault but the finger was not. I did not get anything for the burns but I won like 21K but had to.pay attorney so I walked away with 140 and it to is my right index finger between 1'st and 2nd knuckle. I used to ride dirt bikes and been almost killed quote a few times and have almost killed me sis. I was like 11 or 12 jumping my yz80 across the driveway. I would enter a ditch w a burm into it would hit the Ramp Next to ditch pipeople and land on the down side I was clear 5-6 ft high. My Lil sister was called to my other sister so she went running down driveway as I jumped and the foot. peg hit her right in the temple. She was instantly knocked out I landed on ditch pipe messed up back ribs etc lol kid life was amazing

Yes weed does actually help. I am not on a medicinal state to say what strains work best etc but I am not a pill person my any means. When I always get hurt on injured I would sell the pills And yes I did take during burn N shit it was needed. UT I would rather smoke I can work hard body aches.come home smoke some couch lock shit and chill and the bricks rise. Weed does have wonderful medical affects. I have anger/temper problems. I WILL break shit in no Time, if I smoke I don't care it's whatever bro no hard feelings etc. I have not smoked in 1.5 years so I have no stress/pain relief at this moment but I am doing ok

My finger is still super sensitive my child has helped me get thru it. It's her favorite finger lol she always holds it and picks at it and it would hurt but I had to get use to it. If I hit that finger wow it hurts like hell still 4 years later and it still hurts. It disable me as I cant use that hand very well to start a bolt like I use to in a tight place. It's Def effected me and still till this day. That had sewn my finger into my Palm for blood circulation to keep finger alive and after I believe like 6 weeks of that my hand was messed up. It was super weak my hand hand to be worked out to even open all the way. It sucked/sucks

Can you still ride ? Bikes with hand clutches give me problems in city driving thats 1 reason ive stuck with the old Panhead so long , having a foot clutch makes things alot easier .

Nawaz I don't ride anymore I was big into sports when I was younger and tore both knees up. I need/needed surgery but never did it so I quit riding can't knee board, hard to wake board, hard to get off floor etc so
