New House, New Room... 1200w

i would look into finding somewhere to get beneficial predator insects that feed on gnats.
have you tried using panda plastic to cover your trays so everything below the girls stalks stays in the dark? i think you would get even more root growth throughout the coco mat and more roots = more buds. keeping the medium completely dark may eliminate any gnat issues as well.

coming to find out it is a boom of this lil critter in my area its due to the warm temps...but on the topic of root growth. yes "the bigger the root, the bigger the fruit" I feel like im going to get the same results because my mediums are completely covered.. the pargo has a cover then on top, plus the mat the roots just go under... plus the full cover panda would be a hard fit and I feel a bit messy .. cutting holes/slits to fit the plants through or what have you...

Actually, that is a great idea...or may be (not a hydro-head) but just floating
a mosquito dunk in the Res ought to handle anything living in it. All they
are is BT and that is harmless to us and plants.

Now those do not really look like fungus gnats.

We'll back at again no plants yet still finishing up a few things in the room; new fittings for the table, and venting... Extra excited to get some plants going, miss checking on the ladies, and that extra $$$$ lol.

Well here current status of the room..

I didn't read much farther yet, but I hope you insulate those Light exhaust tubes. I ended up doing that. It helps. I insulated that fan housing also.
