AURORA CANNABIS ENTERPRISES SCARED OF OWN SHADOW worst lighting ever prompts deleting photos online.

Do you trust a company who forces removing photos of their STREETLAMPS

Yes Gavita is one of the highest par and most efficient HID fixtures on the market right now. They are what professional/comercial growers use. The hobbiest growers are just catching on. These light are what all others are trying to be. I've seen 3lbs per light!

Does this mean Peter has been educated on his street light, doomsday, 10 million dollar wasted, the man deleted my photos conspiracy theory?

Again.. Whoever paid you got ripped off. Stating that lettuce cannot tolerate full sunlight is ridiculous. Your 3 feet away lights being half the intensity of 1foot is also very wrong. Distance is inversely proportional to the square of intensity when making light calculations. Thus 3 times the distance equates to 1/9th the intensity. You need 9 times the lights. This is because you bought street lamps which are hot. You broke the NDA only to make a fool out of yourself. This is physics, one of my specialities. The only thing to do now is stop talking nonsense. The world is listening to you and you can't delete this thread to cover up your foolishness. You got called out with your fake Rastafarian foolishness and now your lack of understanding simple math. You misguided Aurora and broke NDA. Not too BRIGHT. View attachment 3360414
What your referring to is the law of inverse squares, which does mean your lumens are spread out the further up they hang, but if other lights are providing side lighting you need to factor this in.

And wtf you talking aboit with MH lights.... ive used MH full round in a pinch and it performed as good as hps. Minimal difference that 99% od people couldn't identify.

You should read up on the difference between PAR amd lumens though, cause it seems your understanding is limited

Only because I feel like Im insulting retards by comparing them to you

Just watched the video of the auroras facility...

The funny thing is, that setup is fire!!

Those hoods are so close they are hitting well above target PAR. The reason they are not vented is the ceiling space. Radiant heat rises, and with what looks like over 10,000cfm of ventilation atleast it will be much more cost effective to cool the room rather than the hoods themselves.

Have you any experience with commercial ag? Cause your small change as far as I can tell, so wondering why your critiquing the big dogs. You main beef is their lighting lol. Which by my calculations is more than adequate. (Google inverse square law, factor watt people sq foot)

With the side lighting and overlap your ridiculous if you think they skimped on the setup.

Rookies..

I love it when someone who really knows their shit comes in and gives Peter a good lesson.
Why do I get the feeling there is a white punk wannabe rasta frantically Googling info on Gavita's at this very moment?
We used to call it book smart. Now I call it Google smart. A whole generation coming up who think they know everything but couldnt get a campfire going with a fucking bic lighter

Technically he is right when stating 1/9 of PAR is reaching the plants from a single light... which is 11%.... which is 110watts per sq. Foot from ONE LAMP. That alone is sufficient. Now factor in that at this height the lights are delivering 110w per square feet over 9 square feet. Those lights are only 2 feet away from each other which means thereI
is actually closer to 175watts per square foot with no shadowing.

Which completely shits on his stance

Peter, I hope this helps. With you vast knowledge of physics it shouldn't take long to solve the exact number of watts per sq. foot....
probably will take you a lil longer to admit your full of shit.

Hope this helpsScreenshot_2015-03-13-22-11-37.png

Radiant Heat Radiates. It is directed from the source outward. Radiant heat does not rise.View attachment 3371642
Truth

But do you think this is going to be a stagnate environment?

From the ventwork shown in the video I saw, I guarantee there is extensive A.C. running.

Cool air falls, creating an insulator.

While the radiant heat from the hoods themselves won't rise, it won't "fall" either. The heat emitted into the air itself will rise until its at an elevation containing simular temps.

Cool air being dumped low, hot air being sucked from top.

With a huge space this is much more practical. No need for vented hoods, they have enough lights hanging to be 3.5' from the canopy with ample lumen coverage.

The glass is taking away about 6% of PAR, and also emitting heat, but there's probably no way around having glass in your hoods with regulations.

I dont really see what your argument is anymore.

Is it really all about the "brand" now?

Because before you were preaching they we "street lamps" due to the connected b allasts. Afew people posted eexamples of lights meant for growing with the same design, you switch to sub par lumens.

After I proved that wrong, now your all about the "brand"?

News flash, China can make ballasts with the same capacities as American made... but cheaper. Just because they outsourced to save cash doesnt mean they totally skimped on assembly.

Can you even actually put your finger on the reason behind your bias?

well said…

though you can really get quite close with glass filled hoods and make up for alot....and not need an uber a/c

the gavita's in the photo look like they are 6ft from each other...

its good to see a whole post without someome using kiddy name calling…

facts hit home better

It is nice to see a detailed post. Nice to see things being thought out. Now if the plant tops are 3.5 feet away. What are the lumens hitting the bottom of the plant 4.5+ feet away? The sun doesn't have that bottom branch problem. Neither does air cooled on rails six inches from the tops. BIAS comes from Aurora getting Roll it up to remove a thread about them. Anyone who controls and filters media is bad news. That form of opression brings up some serious red flags about the transparency of such a company. Who the cap fits let them wear it. Freedom of speech is a must. Freedom is a must.dating-red-flags.jpg

Their pictures are all over the internet. I highly doubt they *forced* RUI to remove anything. Wheres tje proof? Any moderators that can shed light on this?

And a commercial grow will implement sog. One main layer of tops. Minimal side branching Thus there is little need for drastic light penetration.

You can dial in a small grow to perfection, it costs too much in money and time to have things exactly perfect commercially.

@3' after clones have been switched this setup will kill it.

Please share a post of your own setup before you thrash on some on else's. I highly doubt you have constructed anything even remotely dialed in as Auroras

And who ever measures light at the bottom 12" of the plant? Who says they arent lollipopping? Who says they arent planning on lowering the light framing once they have tje tables filled?

Now your off of the brand and on to something else.

You have just admitted all of this was sprung by you getting but hurt about a picture being removed.... amd I repeat, they have tv interviews tour in the facility online for Everyone to see...

So im guessing them forcing the deletion of a thread here is also bullshit.

@sunni

Care to shed any light on this?

Edit: Or they realized they had a crazed idiot on there hand spreading slander and asked RUI to delete. Either way, only thing you have proven to me is you like to google memes and what not to support your rebuttals, because logic and fact cannot; as well as your lack of experience growing commercially as well as probably just growing in general.

Eating and smoking organic cant cure stupid

Is it a legality?

Either way,its fun debating with googlers
These pictures showed up on Twitter and I copy and pasted them here. Soon after they were deleted, because Aurrora claimed the pictures were in breech of a NDA, and either threatened or requested RIU to remove them. Then Tosh tried to associate me with Aurora claiming that I took the pictures and set up the facility, and I was in breech of the NDA, total rubbish.

Peter Tosh prides him self as a master debater, he is educated and some what intelligent (book/Google smart) but his arrogance and ignorance clouds his judgement. He is strictly here to entertain himself, by disrupting and starting arguments with the community. Once and a while something rellivent comes out of him, but mostly it's drival and bait for an argument. Suprised his narcissis side hasn't shown up yet promoting his YouTube channel and his closet pollen chucked seeds on his website. He talks the talk, but he's not a grower by any stretch of the imagination. Best not to feed the Troll.
