I also went with the CXB3070s because of shipping issues with 3590.
Clearly I am a little fish in this pond, sounds like I will be waiting for some cxb3590s to fall through the cracks lol
Not going to lie, pretty cool knowing a lot are going to members on here lol at least it sounds like it

I have been thinking of making a CXB light as well
I understand that running them on low current will be very efficient although high upfront cost. I know the plants will look great under some 90CRI bright white LED, however i am still thinking if that increase in efficiency offsets the following
1) These are white light and do not target the specific wavelengths for photosynthesis unlike those 7-11 band lights
2) Lights with multiple small LED's can have focused light with optics.

Look at the spectrum given off by the "all white light" cxa/b3070s... it's probably about as close as your gonna get to hitting the RIGHT peaks in the RIGHT amount using quality parts, delivering some serious amounts of light...in one of the most efficient ways, optics have losses and these cobs typically don't need them unless you're lighting a ~4x4 space or are keeping the light raised 24+" above the canopy, which means no losses.
Those 7-11, 14 band wavelength panels are usually junk, and are stuck in the dinosaur Era of LEDs where the big SALES PITCH was their way of being efficient was targeting the important nanometers, where the reason they are a better light source than others- is they are typically more efficient, regardless of targeting a wavelength or not.
Be aware if you target to much of one wavelength and not another. You will bleach your plants. Good luck and hopefully you understand that it's worth the investment

Hi guys. Do you know if Supra has made a efficiency chart (the ones he makes with diss wattage, L/w and efficiency etc in the spreadsheet) for the cxB 3070? any one have any links to these, ive searched and searched, maybe he hasnt made one yet?
