Does it need to be explained that taxes are not optional once again? Your friend started to have his wages garnished. If he didn't have wages to garnish, what do you suppose would happen? They'd say, oh that's too bad so sad? Or do you suppose they would take out leins on "his" or "her" property and force him to start paying while interest was accruing to his existing balance making it even more unlikely to be repaid?http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw4.pdf
If you haven't filed one of those out, you are being paid outside the scope of the IRS, otherwise if you filed out that form and signed it, you made an agreement with your, "purported leaders". End of discussion.
And how do you think leins appear to any potential lender or credit agency?
You know, I had a professor who was a communist in school. We had some great discussions. He was a pie in the sky idealist given his leaning towards authoritarian systems, but he never denied things for what they were. He knew that income tax was coercive, but he argued it was necessary. Not that well mind you, but at least he would acknowledge words and actions for what they are. It's no wonder you me and Rob are so far apart. My professor wouldn't have thought much of your arguments either and he was a die hard communist who actually ran as a communist for Parliament.
