I'm not a big eater of many fish either,,but some people just can prepare it to where you would kill for more,,guy at a fishing lodge cooked us up some pike mcnuggets and they were awesome and I gotta give it for our cook Deiby in Costa Rica cuz the spanish mackerel I caught was F'n delicious,,something i could eat every day

We kept 4 nice bull dorado while in Golfito last year & the staff made a meal fit for a king with some.
Complete with a mango sauce I have yet to get right.

Dang, you went and made me hungry now.

Thought I'd post this here. I always wear a baseball cap when I go fishing and pretty much all the time in the summer. I was looking for long-billed caps and last year got one:

cap is very well made, fits tight, and doesn't feel like it will blow off in the wind. Long bill takes a little getting used to but really shades your face. Real good value for $$

spent the week end at my camp, tending the deer stands and fishing. wife came at met me Saturday night. I musta done her some good. she thanked me for the loving weekend this morning...I told her have a fun day at work, I am heading to the gym...lol

Managed to exercise a bit with my 5wt fly-rod on the White River in the Ozarks last week.
Caught a couple of Bow's & a few Browns.

All in all a relaxing couple of hours even if wading was out of the question as the river was really high.

Use crickets and find the school. Once you do as soon as your bait hits the water they usually strike.

I just caught 4 large mouth bass the other day one was tiny and my wife caught 5 but she's a cheater she caught one while I was dealing with my dog.

My wife wanted to compete today as well. She caught the bass and two of the smaller bluegill and I caught the rest. LoL

It was great fun.

She was really proud of that bass.
