How about taxing corporations at the 50%+ rate they used to be, and should be, and then using the tax revenue to fund our education system? The problem with corporate paid schooling is you are only going to get the training they want you to get, do you think a company, who's whole point of existence is increasing profits, is going to allow you to take non-realated courses that they have to pay for? And, they'll probably do it like tuition reimbursement programs, where you have to pay it out of pocket, graduate, THEN get reimbursed.

Taxes on corporations are taxes on consumers.

My integrated science & biology teacher in high school graduated from ASU after spending a tour in the Air Force, one of the most influential persons in my life growing up, definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had. I'm not sure what your point was about ASU

Corporations paying little to no tax is what puts the burden on the consumers. Sorry but when the corporations start getting taxed like they should the rest of America goes on running nicely. Infrastructure gets upgraded, jobs are created and the economy goes up. You give the corporations a free ride and look at America. It starts to turn into a shit hole where schools are ever increasing their costs while wages are stagnant. The economy is floating through not thriving and unemployment is at the highest point in history (that is if you count those who don't collect unemployment as well as those who do).

They used the restroom forcing paying customers find relief elsewhere.
They stood in line at the snack bar, increasing my wait time.
They create a distraction (with their balloons ) making security very difficult. Endangering everyones safety.

The manager allowed the sales of balloons because he gets a cut of the sales and all the helium he can use once he retires.

Meanwhile the Owner has to expand the parking lot for the Tree Crew to come in and remove all the balloons caught in the tree branches.

No, you're not understanding at all. You're projecting your assumptions. I'm saying corporate taxes are regressive. It is the consumer that ultimately pays those taxes, not the corporation. Those taxes, along with ALL costs, are included in the price of what ever product they produce. What you desire, regardless of whatever political propaganda you've been fed, is taxing the poor at the same or even higher rate than the rich. The poor spend ALL their money on consumer goods, where the wealthy do not.

If you limit the price of goods thru government edict, producers stop producing. If you subsidize them, you are taxing everyone for the benefit of the few. We subsidize sugar and pat 3 times the world market.

As far as weather or not Crops should fund schooling ask Monsanto. Fresh minds make money.
How would you stop them from only supporting Schools with Ag classes? Same with Big Oil.
Who would support Hospitals, Pharma?
