Taxes on corporations are taxes on consumers. How about taxing corporations at the 50%+ rate they used to be, and should be, and then using the tax revenue to fund our education system? The problem with corporate paid schooling is you are only going to get the training they want you to get, do you think a company, who's whole point of existence is increasing profits, is going to allow you to take non-realated courses that they have to pay for? And, they'll probably do it like tuition reimbursement programs, where you have to pay it out of pocket, graduate, THEN get reimbursed.
I think he's just jelly of college graduates. I don't think he ever went.My integrated science & biology teacher in high school graduated from ASU after spending a tour in the Air Force, one of the most influential persons in my life growing up, definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had. I'm not sure what your point was about ASU
If you even read my post, you would obviously see that I understand all that. How about taxing corporations at the 50%+ rate they used to be, and should be, and then using the tax revenue to fund our education system? Corporations paying little to no tax is what puts the burden on the consumers. Sorry but when the corporations start getting taxed like they should the rest of America goes on running nicely. Infrastructure gets upgraded, jobs are created and the economy goes up. You give the corporations a free ride and look at America. It starts to turn into a shit hole where schools are ever increasing their costs while wages are stagnant. The economy is floating through not thriving and unemployment is at the highest point in history (that is if you count those who don't collect unemployment as well as those who do).Taxes on corporations are taxes on consumers.
Corporate sponsored education is just another way to keep people enslaved to the corporate masters.Corporate education sounds scary!
Corporate funded schools = corporate lobbyists = corporate agenda = bad, mmkay.
Corporate funded politics = corporate lobbyists = corporate agenda = bad, real bad, mmkay.
End of discussion.
I'll tell you about how trickle dick taxation works instead, tho it won't do any good to someone who uses dogma instead of thinking. When you increase the cost of producing anything, whether it be employee wages, taxation, material costs, location, etc. the cost of the product goes up. Those that consume that product (you) pay for that. This runs counter to your idiotic world view, but that's how the world works. Funny how your knee-jerk reaction is to start blathering about trickle down economics.Corporations paying little to no tax is what puts the burden on the consumers. So tell me again how trickle dick economics works?
I see you don't understand anything when I read your postsIf you even read my post, you would obviously see that I understand all that.

unless the company lowers their margins and sells more, especially those in competition with substitute goods.I'll tell you about how trickle dick taxation works instead, tho it won't do any good to someone who uses dogma instead of thinking. You clearly have deluded yourself into thinking you have a pointDon't make me repeat myself Daniel!
Oh and your thing about cost rising... we can afford cost to rise on certain products. The ones we can't afford to let rise too much the government subsidizes. Go bone your hand and come back lets have a real mans talk.

you are a fucking idiot with the economic understanding of a goat who watches fox news too much.
No, you're not understanding at all. You're projecting your assumptions. I'm saying corporate taxes are regressive. It is the consumer that ultimately pays those taxes, not the corporation. Those taxes, along with ALL costs, are included in the price of what ever product they produce. What you desire, regardless of whatever political propaganda you've been fed, is taxing the poor at the same or even higher rate than the rich. The poor spend ALL their money on consumer goods, where the wealthy do not.I think
I'm beginning to understand your thinking.
The money saved on taxes goes to fueling progress.
Why should they pay for playing in our park when they are suppling the balloons.
But didn't they take up a spot in the freshly paved parking lot, using lights provided for customers?
They used the restroom forcing paying customers find relief elsewhere.
They stood in line at the snack bar, increasing my wait time.
They create a distraction (with their balloons ) making security very difficult. Endangering everyones safety.
The manager allowed the sales of balloons because he gets a cut of the sales and all the helium he can use once he retires.
Meanwhile the Owner has to expand the parking lot for the Tree Crew to come in and remove all the balloons caught in the tree branches.
Ticket price goes up.
Progress.
If you limit the price of goods thru government edict, producers stop producing. If you subsidize them, you are taxing everyone for the benefit of the few. We subsidize sugar and pat 3 times the world market.Don't make me repeat myself Daniel!
