in the pic the leaf does kinda resemble a phos def(brown marks), i used a liquid guano mix to correct the phos problem i had once before. are you going to use any epsom salt to correct the mag def ? check online for a popular deficiency chart, serves me well to this day.

Well I think it was a magnesium deficiency. I added general organics cal mag two days ago and the new growth is perfect. Did something foolish though. I cut off all the terrible looking, dried out and dead leaves. It looks healthy as ever but without it largest fan leaves. Lol. Another month or so before I switch to flower. Maybe it'll recover. But I'll watch it like a hawk for a hermie.

did you ever think of running 12/12 from seed, then revegging the ones you actually preferred ? which specific supersoil recipe did you use as a guideline? you are even experimenting by using supersoil in the reverse way of its original intention. i always thought it belongs on the bottom half of the container so the roots can grow into it.

No 12/12 from seed for me. Yes it was definitely a risk on reverse feeding. Id never saw anyone grow using super soil and autos so i didnt want to burn them. But it seems to be working just fine. Next grow ill use it on botton 1/3rd for autos. It subcools super soil mix. Makes growing so much easier for me. 35 days in and I've only added water. That the only problem I had was with that one plant and I have 15 in the tent.

Yes it seem to be getting a little crowded in there. And I still have another 30+ days to veg. But once I switch to bloom I'll remove the autos and place the wappas and the critical kush in separate tents both under 1000 watt hps. So 5 plants per light.

They're still up under mh light right now. Thinking about switching to hps light to finish up flowering the autos. Anyone know how this will affect my photo strains already in the tent?

everything looks good to me. the change should not affect them for the worse though. what kelvin temp is the mh? i have switched out between mh & hps during mid grow & at the end to finish. my thoughts were that using the mh first i built up the potency, & midway with the hps i added bulk, then i finished with the mh to add a little uv, more so than the hps, but i was also using uvb reptile bulbs in close proximity also. my mh was a cheapie 400w 5500k, my hps is a 1000w horti which i think runs about 2100k. i know most people equate mh with potency, & hps with yield. this time in my current 12/12 from seed grow i started with the 1000w horti from day one. i plan to add an actinic 400w 15000k mh soon to finish with, or actinic flor tubes to use throughout the entire grow.

OK so a lot and a little has been going on. First for the lot. My neighbor and I were talking and they somehow found out he had illegal cable. (I dont have cable myself). Out of curiosity I checked my am radio stations and I'll be damned.... radio frequency interference. The next day the cable guy/ light company was in front of my house working on the pole. Was so afraid they were going to come to my house and know the rfi was coming from me. Almost panicked. But so far, so good.

Now for the little... The grow is going very well. But to be honest I can't take the credit. Sub's super soil mix is working fabulous. The 5 autos seem to be at several different stages. The two tallest ones are 35" and about 30". Though the shorter of the two seems like itll yield a bit more. Here's a couple pics.

Everything is about 37 to 40 days old. Here's the two biggest autos together and a pic of the critical kush. Even the wappa that I cut up half to death has recovered and is doing well. The ck is about 20" tall. I plan to veg for at least another month so I'm sure I'll have a lot of tying down to do since my plants will at least double in size during stretch and I have only 80" of height.

Update. I installed the hps light about 3-4 days ago. Damn they've stretched quite a bit. The tallest photo is now about 26" tall. I can see I'm going to have some serious tying down. Can't do it now cause I have no more outward room. But once I finish the autos, switch to 12/12 and put half of the other girls in a separate tent I should be ok. Just hope that I can get this done as soon as flowering begins.

Small update. The girls are looking good. Though my second ww auto has a deficiency. Looks similar to the one that my wappa suffered from. Maybe magnesium or phosphorus. Anyway I gave her a dose of calmag and hope this helps. Also I'm only top feeding these so if I'm not packing on the soil on top she may be hungry.

They're getting too big and Im pressed for space. I think I'm going to flip to 12/12 next Sunday even if the autos are not ready. I'm placing the wappa in one tent while the critical kush will be in the second tent for lights out. I think the autos have at least another 3 weeks. They'll just have to flower with the photos for a couple of weeks. Hopefully they won't hurt my yield too much. I'll start tying down the photos once I flip.

BTW I transplanted the star bud from the one gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot with nothing but super soil. This will be her final pot. Hope its not too strong for it. Guess we'll see in a few says or so. Wish me luck.

i was wondering how you planned to veg for another month. in a perfect world i would be able to veg for 6 months under 20/4 inside, then set outside june first to bloom. have you seen the trees the mendo dope guys had, just outstanding.

you think its possible to still add some alfalfa tea? i use triacontanol myself & love the effects of it.
