Well, sure. I thought I'd done my homework. I'd planned to go with two portables. But I'd read on a thread, I think at 420.com, that I needed 2200 BTU per 1000W, so I was dialed in to half of what I actually needed.
The other, more pertinent thing, was I planned to make the first grow in two tents, then 3 weeks ago found some cheap warehouse space, which completely changed all my plans at a late hour. I've had to build a wall, add a steel door, run extra electric lines, hung orca film and I'm pretty convinced I can install a mini-split.
Between the late change in the game plan and the bad info, I got stuck. I'm sure my plants can stay in veg for 2 weeks more, so I'm hardly in panic mode, just in need of good info now on a dependable product.
(Btw, I also was wrong about finding a cheap Mitsubishi. It was an Air-Con that was advertising they use a Mitsubishi compressor.) So from what I've read, Mitsubishi is the Porsche..... how do Daikin, Air-Con, LG and others rate?
