I'm making a smash mars video real soon gonna smash the Mars 2 900w. My diy lights have more lux even the !600 is 10,000 lux less and it's running 671w and mine is 413w. Really? total waste of time I did grow some weed that I made money to call it a wash so I'm gonna smash it lol.

Sup dudes, done a little reading and wanting to dive in and learn some stuff I'm not a professional grower I grow for myself and want a light that uses less power and creates less heat then what I am using now.

My space is 2 feet x 4 feet x 5 feet high. I'm looking at 4-6 CXA 3070's and thinking I want to run them at about 50% I'm fairly stumped on the drivers I went to meanwells page and don't really have a clue as to what I would need. I plan on running active cooling with cpu coolers on a simple frame, which I am hoping to enclose in some fashion once I deem the unit safe. Looking for a simple way to power the heatsink fans.

I'm currently running a 400 watt HID in the space and would like something comparable at least right now fans are taking up more room then the plants which is a shame I don't want to have to shut down my grow this summer, it hit 31 degree's celcius today figured I better get my ass in gear.

I've read some of Supra's DIY LED thread and Realstyles DIY thread and will be reading lots more before I electrocute myself , is there any other ones that I should check out before I venture into this?

for a space of 20 by 20 inches are two Cree CXA1304 4000K driven at 1000mA good enough for veg? How far from the canopy can I get them?
Sorry if these are dumb questions. I've read a bit abut COBs but I've got no first-hand experience

I guess I'm just not that paranoid....seems pretty unrealistic that someones reaction to seeing someone smashing a light would be to follow them back to their place to figure out where they live and then break in hoping that theres a load of buds that just happen to be ready for harvest....

I'm laughing my ass off. You haters and I'm talking about the ones I'm not saying any names but they know who they are. I made that video for fun. Just make your own lights don't buy premade lights unless you can't learn how to make them. And btw haters my panels at 8" are 138,000 lumens at 413 watts

It would be very bad for them. I have 2 pits and I'm in a area where there is too many cops around.
