What a difference a few days makes:
Made a reflector out of a trelace and some styrofoam insulation panels out of our junked hot tub.

Excellent! It works like a charm in my particular situation. 5x8 veg room running a 650-750w. When fans are running full bore I get the RH to about 45% but at night when the fans idle it will get to 60-70. This second round of plants are SO much happier than the first I tell you.... It has made a huge difference. Good luck!
 
Well...2 weeks of flowering hours and things are good. This last feeding I felt like I was pushing them a bit, but they are looking to have enjoyed it. I'll probably go light on the next watering and maybe leach a little bit to keep the salts honest... I should probably get a ppm meter.

Realized that I'm not even a week into flowering hours... Earlier post said I was two weeks in, but no, that's wrong. Tomorrow will be a full week of flowers.
Adjusted the nutes to bloom and made another reflector so that I've got a nice footprint defined. These plants are so short and stocky, but it's looking like the stretch is beginning.
Saw some salts on the outside of the fiber pot...at least its on the outside... Just gonna use water and hummus acid next time.:peace:
 
I liked to use unsulphured molasses along with some dechlorinated water for a week when I saw salt build up on the outside of my grow bags. The plants loved it and it was a cheap addition found at any grocery store

Hey thanks for dropping in! What's the scoop on molasses? I've seen it kicked around the forums, but haven't researched it at all.

From what I have gathered...
I believe it is a microbe (soil) enhancer not a plant one so any direct plant enhancement is imagined. Also, the nutrients (Ca/K) most brands come with are not in a plant usable form. But it can be a good thing in some organic grows. It can also be used to make some kick ass cookies.

I was growing organically at the time in super soil with tons of myco
 
did a bit of supercropping last night and just like all the literature says, the plants are stickier than they were just one day earlier.
Never used this technique before, but it is definaty something I am going to continue, easier than lst and from what I gather, more effective at boosting yield. I'll get some pictures up tonight.

Cool. One of the plants I have started for my next grow, completely snapped about halfway when LSTING. I cut it off clean and supercropped what was left and it is looking great now with a bunch of grow sites on each supercropped branch.
 
Stickier because of supercropping? I'd always thought supercropping was just for training :dunce:

According to some things I've just recently read, when the plant stresses it produces more resin as a defense mechanism.... I actually read that after I noticed it on my plants. I'm sold :-)
