I'm talking if that one person somehow devised a completely legal way to garner all the wealth, and all but that one person lived on less than $.02 a day... if everything was 100% legal, would you say that's OK or not? Why?

If everyone lived on less than $0.02 a day, the average house would cost about twice the average yearly wage, or $4.40. If that "one person" held all that wealth, then it is effectively removed from the economy.

And they got sued, were forced to pay the differance plus, and huge fines, too.

mcd's already is aware (as is wal-mart) that they can shift the tax burden on to the taxpayer (us).

by paying low wages we (peasants) subsidize the poor, publicly traded corporation aka means of production. they know this.

the greeter is not always elderly. kynes was a greeter.

walmart banks on those who are either already holding down another job or SS.

you get a meager discount in order the EE reinvests right back into the company for goods that cost the company nothing.

the living wage you refer is still the combination of two incomes.

why is someone on SS unable to live without working another job? the SS that i've already contributed to?

could it be they were lazy during their life and didn't rack up enough contribution?

walmart is being subsidized as is mcd. they bank on this and with all of the above, their EE's are basically free labor.

payroll is THE biggest expense a business has..but not if you are ripping everyone off.

But they still manage to live on it.
SS was never intended to be a sole income, if it was, you would have to pay more into it. Just because you contributed doesn't mean you contributed enough.

With America's ability to actually produce products that can compete on the open world market in decline, it's no wonder that the balance of trade is the problem it is. Nobody buys our export products because we just don't make that many any more, and like or not, we have to buy our appliances from the people who make them, which are NOT Americans. (When Ampex invented the VCR, they didn't even bother trying to find an American company to make it, they immediately sold the rights to Japan).

What makes you think wages matched productivity? Everything you posted showed rate of increase, so all had start at the same point. Doesn't even imply they were equal. Productivity increases due to better methods, increased mechanization, etc. Employees working harder is seldom even a factor. Usually, the work gets easier. Driving a trackhoe is worlds easier than a pick and shovel.

Sure if that is the case then that gas at the pump should be raised to world costs , that loaf of bread raised milk same thing see the government is eating the difference in actual cost of the foods curious how much do you pay for gas for your car ???? or a gallon of milk how much

3.65 for a gallon of milk ??? where here in canada it would cost 7.70

Canada its jumps up n down here is low to high per gallon 5.11 per

see where i am getting at the Government had been paying the cost difference to keep the food price down but the increase has started 5.7 percent increase in milk in usa since last year so slowly people are feeling the pinch
