Ya man instead of doing the traditional tuck an weave scrog I just twist tied the stems to the top of the screen an it worked out great. I was actually surprised myself how well it worked. I'd say about another week maybe 2 to go and I'll be chopping her down. No Amber trichs yet, there's some on the buds closest to the bulbs but going to knock that off as burnt trichs not "amber".
 
But to answer ur question, yes there is still some new pistols popping up. It's a 9 week strain so it should start to stop and all turn orange real soon.
 
WEEK8 DAY56

She's finally starting to swell up. Starting to yellow a bit but not much. 1 more week to go an it's harvest time. Can't believe how frosty she got with cfl's. Defiantly going to do a 2nd run in it an see if I can get the screen lower to get them bids a lil bigger.image.jpg

With these lil lights u can practically grow anywhere. U just need a lot of them. I gotta make a better carbon filter too. This carbon filter sheet works but I can start to smell it a lil in my room now.

Yup. But i pretty much gave it up when i figured out it took 300watts to get about an ounce with a regular yielding strain. I still grow with cfls though just for kicks lol

That's exactly what this grow was. Just did it for the hell of it. It's been a really fun grow tho that's forsure. I'd rather build a lil cabinet an put a 250w hps in it. That way all the time money an effort put in to it will pay off with a bigger yeild. Probably double if not triple the yeild with a hps.

Good idea! I've been experimenting with my 1k's. Was doing 6 girls under each 1k at 20"+ from top cola's and came back with 2.3lbs dry. Yes i was excited as it was my first harvest with the 1000watt. Now i have the same girl's but only 3 in the cab, and closer to the lights then before via screen or green method. Hoping for 3lbs but i doubt it. I see plenty of people tapping 3 lbs with 1k's, yes i got a little jealous lol

A buddy gave me a cut that he got from someone he knew. Never did ask where his buddy got it from so I have no idea. I like it a lot tho. Really easy to grow and its some damn good smoke. Next time I see him I'll ask where his dude got it from.

Now all 4 of my cabs each have 1k super hps's. I am only flowering with 3 cabs and keep all my veg and cuttings in the other cab with a 400w mh and 10 23w 6500k cfl's. As for my cfl harvest, i used 13 bulbs total, around 330+ real watts, got 44g dry if i remember correctly which is about right in a 3.5g smart pot with FFOF. Each cab is 5x6x6

Damn u have your self a nice lil set up there. I'd be worried about the electric bill with 4-1000 watters going. I checked your thread out, really nice set up u got there. I have a 2 tents. One is 2x2x4 for veg and other is 3x3x6 for flowering. I have my old chocolope mother, a reg bag seed and a northern light flowering now. There in week 6 of flowering now. The reg bagseed only has 4 main colas but there fucking huge about the size of my arm. The chocolope has around 20-30 tops that are about 5-7 inches with a bunch of pop corn nugs on the lower branches. Going to be one of my best harvest yet. The northern light is only on week 3 of flowering so she's still a lil small but looking nice tho.
 
WEEK8 DAY60

Decided to do an update on the PC today. Can't tell in the pics but starting to get a lot of Amber trich finally. Think I might just be able to harvest this Saturday. Was thinking it might take another week since there wasn't much Amber going on but the last few days they have darkened up a lot. It's prob about 30-40% Amber. So Saturday should be perfect for harvest.

Electricity rips me in half! But this is my first year with 4k instead of 1.6k. Trying to make my harvest last longer than a year but apparently i smoke 4-5 zips a month haha fml. i only grow untill i can sustain myself for a year. I dont think i have my cabs posted on RIU. Maybe the blue dream scrog and the afghani cfl flower test, which btw taste super good!
