Best way to cool a 4k room down

I have a flowering room with 4 1000 hps and I was wondering what would be the best way to cool the lights threw ventilation. I also have 2 1000s for the room right next to the 4k room it's basically 2 flower rooms in one nothing really separates the rooms besides a wall with a door way in it. Right now I'm pulling air from inside the 4k room threw at carbon filter then that air is pushed threw the 4 lights then out a window out side the room. What would be a better technique to cool the 4k room and also the 2k room Any suggestions would help thanks!

Then end all fix is to begin your change to LED lights. I was skeptical by dont belive what ne one say they are amazing especially my KIND K5 1000w. They significantly reduce heat and issues of temperature. And cost less in total usage.
But for now you can try giving each light its own ventaltion channel. And run any fans high becausr of course heat rises.

he is right about the LED ......it will reduce the heat

as for what u can do other then that ..........i am sorry u need a Mini Split with 6 1000w i am little shocked u do not have one installed already
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D9ZQFIO/ref=twister_B00SIN0QV4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

the trouble u are having is from the IR heat ........HPS are about 70% IR heat and with 4 in the room venting it u are going to need something that cycles the whole room every 10 secs and still the heat is going to be high but bearable

I don't have a grand to spend on a mini split right now I can get a 12000 btu ac for 280 if that would help. Any other things I could do?

12k is not going to help much with 4 lights. 4 lights calls for 16-20k btu imo. Portable AC are garbage too, either go mini split or window. Mini split is definitely the best option, and it cost more than 1k for a nice one installed. I paid 4500 for my 32k btu mitsubishi dual zone installed.

My buddy runs a 12k in his 4k room. It works ok, not very well in the summer. His power bill is absolutely ridiculous though. That thing is working like a slave.

Find your total power displacement in the room(fans, air pumps, lights, phone charger, everything that uses electricity) and multiply that number by 3.41, then add 10%. This will give you a rough estimate as to how many BTU's you're producing that need to be removed by the AC. Always aim for a slightly bigger AC than you need. Oversized AC's don't have to work as hard to cool a space which tends to be more efficient than a smaller AC struggling to keep up.

You would need an 18k btu minimum for the 4kw room, and a 10k BTU AC for the 2kw room.

If you don't plan on moving locations for some time, a dual zone mini-split is your best option.

Thermal energy is the result of work being done in a space, AKA electricity moving through circuits. 1000w of power displacement is going to result in ~3410 BTU being displaced in the space regardless of it's from an HID lamp, a 65% efficient LED COB, or a toaster oven.

LED's do not 'run cooler' than HID lamps. This is a an age old myth perpetuated by unscrupulous vendors peddling bottom bin LED panels.Preying on the fact that most individuals didn't take(or didn't retain) physics.

The only way to reduce ambient temperatures with an LED compared to HID is to use a more efficient chip to reduce the overall powerdisplacement while maintaining the photon density and count. Using kind LED panels with their bottom bin epi star LED's is not going to accomplish that.
