Even if he was a Muslim, I would not call him a terrorist. Others would, but not me. The definition we use for terrorism here in the United States is watered down to give our government more power and authority to carry out bull shit in other countries. Dylaan Roof didn't scare anyone before the attack, and he doesn't scare anyone now he's in custody. You're a fool if you think his plan would have started a civil war, or anything other than bull shit talking points. Real terrorism is entire populations hiding from you and peeking through drapes. Real terrorism is being afraid of clear sunny days because a drone may kill you. Real terrorism is not wanting to get on a plane because it may end up in the side of a building. Real terrorism is going door to door telling families they can't live in their homes, because I am here in your country and I have an American flag on my arm. I have seen and committed terrorism, real things that enslave populations with fear and Rob them of hope for the future. If you or anyone else thinks Roof accomplished that, then I'm sorry but you don't understand what true terrorism is.

Why haven't you called the police terrorists? By that definition, they are. More so than Roof, so why do you afford them such a pass?

The Baltimore police department.

These things were so shocking, we had one of these mass shootings in our country and got rid of what was left of the community owned guns. While our nutjob had a pile of autoloaders, now you (consequently people like him) can't own one without good reason. Settling arguments, consoling ego, alleviating fear or paranoia, these just aren't good enough reasons.
