Best way to dry/trim?

i am overly obsessive over every nug so I have always wet trimmed.. Cut a big chunk off, trim it on the spot, all the way down to how you would want to see it in the bag .. Then I put on racks for 5-7 days 55% humidity 70 degrees.

I am at the point now where i have too much and it is taking too long.

Most people I know trim it roughly , hang it for 10 days and then go back and trim it again. I find I don't get as good of a taste like this and I don't feel like it looks as good in the bag . Do you agree or disagree ? Also, for me, I find it takes just as long do trim it when it's dry this way (about 8hours for a pound) but your doing more steps .

How do you guys do it to get 15-20 pound harvests done in a week

Dry trim only. 6 days for 4 people. usually 10 hour days.

Just to clarify..we are talking about drying only.
I have the air moving in my drying room (spare bedroom). When theres a nice amount on the racks I have to open the door to let some humidty excape. Might want to try that

Always wet trim..prevents curing if you leave leaves
Plus its easier, wont break so many trichs and no crispy leaves all over the damn place.

As far as trimming ~15lbs a week. Boppers, snow bunnies, gang members

I got a decent air flow I want them to go at least 5 days. I feel at 3 days I get a more harsh smoke. So many people hate on the way I trim to the point of I can't get any help. People only want to help if I do it there way it is ridiculous . Last batch took me 18 days to do 21 ps . The Ammount that sets me behind is way worse than paying trimmers.

do you yank fan leaves and shit before you hang? Like a pretrim? Or do you cut and hang. 6 days for 8-10 ish? I feel like I can knock that out about same pace with a 4 man crew wet trimming too

6 days for double that. I just branch the plant out and take big fans off tip some medium leafs and let hand dry.

Yes i feel its the only way to do it. I also believe one yields more. This is just what i do. Ive seen and smoke wet trimmed bud thats super amazing. I don't knock people on the style they trim.

Ok, This is just my train of thought only though. It could be complete bull shit... I feel that leaving lots of leaf on when hang drying that the drying process takes from leafs and the bud. Not just the bud, as would be happening during a wet trim dry. Again this may make no sense to anyone, this is just what i do.

Pretty sure that equals out to less then a pound per person in ten hours. pretty easy task. Well not easy but..... you know what i mean.

No thats right, but also why not as much chlorophyll starches etc are broken down in the bud with this method. I dont know about it effecting yield though

I kinda understand what your saying.. I always thought that drying the way i do gives you the most even dry.. And I thought that when you dry trim and leave the leafs and bud on the stem that the extra moisture keeps the nug from drying as even and that's why there is extra weight. When I try to dry trim I find that the nug could almost do a day on the racks after coming off the stem before going into turkey bags . If it truly does give you more weight than I am sold haha. But I imagine you lose that extra moisture weight after its in a turkey bag a few days?

I am scared to cut it all down and not get it trimmed in time before it dries out . If all my helpers flake I will be fucked

Is this why I think better taste when wet trimmed? Not bragging but my ogs are smooth as butter . You can take a bong toke from hell without a harsh cough. Ive always been stoked about that but I couldn't pinpoint why . I am not a fan of harsh smoke

I am worried I can't trim it before it goes bad or gets too dry. I pay 230 a pound tell your trimmers to call me haha

I am the only one I know that can get a pound done in a day. I guess I have more fluffy nugs though a pound always looks fat in the bag so takes a little longer to trim. I am only running like 35wAtts per square foot I blame it on that. Some people say it's because I use advanced Nutes lol.
