Leave it alone until it is done with the stretch. Then, you can lolli her up and clean that lower growth off. Don't remove any healthy leaves from the rest of the plant.

It can (not always) stop the stretch in its tracks from what I have heard I haven't really done it so I can't say from experience. I just topped a 6-7 of mine that are 1.5 weeks into flower since you asked.. I will let you know what they do.What happens if you defoliated during the streching period ?

Every time you cut or removing anything from the plant that it is not ready to drop on its own, you are stalling it due to stress. Imagine what your plants would look like if you left them alone. Your plants look good, but they would look better if you had left them alone.I have been defoliating small amounts pretty much since I could lol im 4 weeks into flower with 4 weeks veg on tthese girls, grown in straight happy frog soil under a 600w hps
