If Israel tries to wipe out the middle east, I would advise any city dwellers to move because the NUKES might be the next things to start raining! I don't think they would waste NUKES to take out a piece of forest. The first place that the NUKES would drop would be the BIG cities, and all the adjacent towns and small cities would perish too.

Iran is friends with Russia, China, and others that don't buy into the USA and EU bull crap. Its only a matter of time before WW3 if the USA tries to go against Russia trying to protect Georgia.

Well I'm certainly no "sheep"... I prefer to think for myself. Regarding Resolution 362, I won't pretend to be an expert because I'm not. I see that it has been "introduced" and not yet been voted on. I also see the text saying:

(1) declares that preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability, through all appropriate economic, political, and diplomatic means, is vital to the national security interests of the United States and must be dealt with urgently;

I don't see the words "military force" in there... but again... I'm not an expert. As I understand the text of the proposed resolution, it does NOT give any President free reign to go to war.

I don't see any need to call each other "sheeple" as each side of a debate can apply that term to those who disagree with their point of view.

I'm neither Dem or Rep.... and I stand by my earlier posts; we aren't going to war without Congressional approval... and that approval has not been given... and likely won't be given to this President unless some Country strikes us directly first.

Russia was just trying to protect their people because Georgia attacked S. Ossetia. South Ossetia is a town in Georgia which has more people that love "mother Russia" than their own country (Georgia). Russia was simply trying to protect its people from the Georgian gov't that was attacking its people.. At least thats what I get from this whole ordeal.

I guess the argument could be made that by positioning our troops around the Gulf region he is goading Iran into action. I don't see Ahmadinejad falling for that.

As to the Russia / Georgia conflict... same thing... I don't think there is a damn thing we will do, except make grand speeches "warning" Russia to cease and desist. I think the most we will do is continue supplying aide in food and medical supplies.

I'm actually pro sheeple! I was a sheeple too, before I became avidly interested in politics. Everyone has to learn as they go, no one is infallible. Everyone was a "sheeple" at one point in time. Theres always room to learn, in my opinion.

I don't think Iran has nukes. They're missing key components and have repeatedly offered to show the nuclear technology they're working on (which is for energy use). However.. China and Russia both get most of their oil supply from Iran- fucking around with their oil supply won't make them happy.. Russia already is having problems with us over the Georgia conflict...Iran has big friends with nukes..that should be the concern..

I am sick of this shyt though- who the fuck are we to tell other countries what technology they can and can't explore. With the energy crisis ensuing as it is right now any country looking for other viable cheaper and renewable alternatives should be commended- NOT THREATENED.

Not when they pay .68 cents a gallon for fuel and the west pays $4+ a gallon. They have cheap natural gas and crude oil for producing electricity. There is no reason for Iran to have nuclear capability. The last thing the world needs is a bunch of crazy extremist with nukes. The only reason India and Pakistan got nukes was because the technology was stolen from the US and was being sold on the black market. Iran also has plenty of sun and wind for solar energy.
