Power outage! !!!

Wtf man, my power just went out. Can anyone tell me how long I have until my plant drowns ? It's in a 5gallon bucket which has just about 3 gallons of water. Does plant size and root ball size matter?? If so the root ball is about half the bucket and the plant is well over 6ft. (I know, I'm a shit head). Anywho, will it last?? The truck is outside now messing around with the power pole, should be up soon hopefully.

anymore than 20 minutes you should lift the root ball out and the roots out ...avoid letting them dry out tho....how long until you get power...?

Fuck, 20 mins?! And the plant is tied down all awkward because of the space... it would be pretty difficult to lift it out in the dark, plus the bitch is heavy as balls... id spoke to the guy outside, he said it should be about an hour before I get power.

plant went about an hour with no O2, shit stood tall, didnt even phase it.... thanks for the advise tho, def gonna invest in a mini wall generator, the ones that connect to the wall and it charges a huge battery inside it. . the company i work for bought like 12 at a decent price i might go for one of those.

No need to worry. I forgot to hook up an air line once to a 5 gal dwc bucket. 4 days later The plant looked as healthy as all the rest. No difference at all. I was surprised at this myself.

A battery powered air pump used for bait buckets works great in emergencies! Look for them in a store that sells fishing stuff. Cheap and easy insurance for outages.

Backup power supplies for computers work great for stuff like this. Just plug your pumps into it.

If you're going to run any serious setup always have a generator handy. The plants can handle no lights for a few days but you definitely want your watering/exhaust and system still running.

They have those computer backup batterys cheap, itll run a pump for an entire day im assuming. It runs a cpu for 15+ mins

1 hr and you should be fine, 2 hrs and you should be ok. Over 2 hrs start praying

My cable modem's UPS system got diverted to the grow room... just in case of just issues...

Next I wanna work out a backup for lighting... not to grow on, but enough lighting to avoid messing up the flower cycle if I have to go a day or 3 without power.... Ill pump O2 into my babies like I was giving CPR, but I can't create light for 12hr periods....

I used to lose power lots! Bought a generator so I could keep enjoying modern living lol. Just run a few 12v led's to keep them in cycle like a real cloudy couple of days lol. Then design a new setup where your roots aren't flooded all the time, just a thought lol.
