Update on the Locomotion plants! 1 out of the 4 that survived is female :(, good thing I took cuttings from them all early on. Will keep one of the best males and collect pollen for dusting on a Blueberry X Thai / Skunk female I have out as well. I don't think I will get much off the Locomotion in its current state. Looking a bit leggy, the Blue Thai skunk is really tight internodes. I know once I put the Locomotion under Hps come fall it will be far better than right from seed on a balcony.

So far, even the flowering tent next door (Cotton Candy) has not been affected (day 40 - about 3 weeks since pitching the infected). My inclination is to keep playing defense, but I was wondering if I should wait until Winter to run Querkle to be EXTRA safe. I almost want to replace the tent...lol. It's like your kids have lice...

i recommend enforcing extremely strict policy when bringing in any plant to an indoor grow. outdoors can be nearly impossible to battle bugs without pesticides. i havent taken in any plants in years and have done everything from seed or clones that i did myself. if anything goes outdoors it stays there and is banished from returning. no store bought house plants, only ones started from seed myself. not even fresh fruits or vegetables are allowed in. must be processed at another location and brought in. at my actual home my yard has mites all over in my vegetable garden. i've never had them transport from my clothing and i think it may be a myth. maybe it's different with huge infestations. i just see a lot of them under the leaves on fruits and vegetable plants in my yard. they want a food source not humans or clothing. no one likes when i say this but i think any mite infestation if it's spread enough, restart everything. to me it's worth spending a lot of extra money. tear down everything. kill or give away all the plants(always tell someone if a plant has mites and it is at their own risk). bleach the fuck out of everything. run some bug bombs. burn any cardboard(they will nest in the grooves). shit might as well accidentally leave the stove on and have the house burn down and collect the isurance. just make sure to remove any people and pets first. medicine should be mold and pest free. otherwise throw it in the fire, not in a pipe.

i have found out over the years that responsible growers are some of the best ppl at paying their light bills on time. i know someone that actually had HUD pay their rent and light bill and had a small grow. best places to grow are the shit town with low utilities bills. always have a good security system as cops are almost always too slow. it's controversial but a hunting rifle is a good way to get rid of anyone breaking in. faster than the police too. just know your state law. where i live everyone has guns.

chernobyl 9 weeks. looks a little whispier this time but turned out great. nice purple color also. sorry for the half assed trim job. had a lot of different conditions though. these were in my same super soil except i guess you could say it aged longer. 89-91F i usually like no more than 85F although im told they should thrive more. 1600-2000ppms of co2 probably too high. and the last 5 weeks or so it was under some pretty intense LED lighting instead of hps. maybe too close and heat strokin. these higher wattage leds do produce a lot of heat but nothing like a watt equiv hps. i still say hps givs you a better bang for your buck because of coverage and there are decent cheap bulbs out there. the leds are pretty cool though. the cob style i was planning on trying next the brands got terrible reviews so i will have to wait for a more favorable brand. the pics here is over 1200watts total of LEDS. different color spectrums just for fun to show off. we'll be growing space weed on space ships controlled by our cell phones before you know it. l3 is all 3 spectrums. l4 is reds. l5 is blues. l6 is white, UV, IR, and possibly others. l7 is a combo of whites and blues. l8 is a combo of whites and reds. multi strain multi stage grow.
