CAP wouldnt be making all those cool products anymore? They may have had shitty bulkheads but the rest of their stuff atleast had variety.... I cant say I tested it all.
There's another brand that makes it, whatever it was.

Still need to find some containers. 27gal is a bit too much. Dont like the idea of 200+ gallons of water fill ups.

Im looking around the 10-15gal sites.

Shit... The more, the better! More solution means slower swings in pH, EC and temperature. Slow= manageable=a good thing.

If you're worried about cost of nutrients, then it's time to quit with the waterbottles.

I know i need yo get on my dry nute game.

Once im done with these GH bottles

Not worried about cost of nutrients though. Worried about mixing wrong and having to dump it.

And needing a bigger chiller which means more electrics. Bill was 250 last month running only 1 600w

i built a 4 site rdwc. used 3 of those 27 gal black/yellow totes. had 2 plants in each one and then one outside the room as the control tub. less tubs equals less bulkheads and less chance of leaks. do you have a floor drain nearby just in case you join the "flood club"??

I dont have a floor drain. I wanna put the chiller and control bucket outside the room in the laundry room adjacent to the room. I wanna put a mop sink in there and empty changeouts in there and run fillups from there as well.

Im planning for 3 bulkheads a bucket. With a maximum of 34 possible leak spots. 15 bulkheads plus 3 for the tee plus 8 for the two cross tees plus 8 for the 2 elbows.

It's not an exclusive club. EVERYBODY joins, sooner or later lol

maybe i should rethink this rdwc idea then. I am in a basement so if I had to join that club it wouldnt be so bad. id prefer to not join the club tho

Naw. Putting the pump in the control bucket to the chiller which the output will go to a supply manifold to supply each bucket with a waterfall
that's kinda how i did mine. i built something like the sprayer on your kitchen sink that was a waterfall in each tub. i only had 4 airstones in my control tub.

i think mine was 900 gph. i'll go check it out.

knocking on wood, haven't had the pleasure of joining the club. my room is right next to my mech room with floor drain so wasn't too worried.

As long as water comes out every port of the manifold, it's fine. I've actually drowned a couple plants recently, in part because the topfeed was putting out too much water.
