If your municipal water is treated with chloramine, as a lot of places are now since its more stable than free chlorine, you are wasting your time as it will never dissipate. R/O is the only way to get rid of it.

lmao this is great entertainment ill sit back and smoke some F.o.g while u guys go at it..... as for the chlorine or cloramine <- which i never head of till now... i never worried about it much , although i was running distilled at first in my dwc res and switched to tap for the clorine because i was worried i may have bacteria or root issues..i heard that chlorine and hydrogen peroxide which i was using for a while to could make organic nutes a little screwy ....anyways yea i was hoping to start feeding this one soon think i should go with 10-10-10 base nutes , or fox farms grow and big big bloom or nothing yet

Yes that is absolutely correct.

It is better to acquire fresh high quality castings. Build a soil has good stuff for soil growers including castings. Maybe someons in your area has homemade fresh castings available.
