SK comes close, if only under the middle of the light, but it is 18" away so that's still pretty impressive. Sounds like that light is using XM-l2's. Are we positive that the SK uses XB-D's and not XM-l2's? That would change things quite a bit if they did...

Actually I found a high bay that uses xml 2s u2 bin supposedly. The price is 100 bucks more but seems to be worth it. Still the lm/w doesn't add up.

Can't imagine how ridiculous the pricing would be.Did some more playing around with the Cree (PCT) and found some interesting results. So the XM-L2 in the higher/highest bins produces over 145 Lumens/ Watt @ 700 ma 50 degrees C. SK claims to use 200 diodes on the SK400. If they did use XM-L2's then I could see 200 of those within close proximity of each other producing some serious light density.

that actually looks like a pretty decent light, price wise beats the pants off of my illumitex.. distribution seems to be its weak point, and they may be over estimating that 525 watts can replace a 1K hps. the website didn't really say what chips they are using.
