Getting a job is not all that bad. You contribute in some way and can afford to buy food. I honestly don't think all people are entitled to eat without some form of contribution. I remember I was full time USMC and I was starving. The only food I had in my apartment was corn flakes and ketchup. But, I was literally starving. Yep. I ate dry corn flakes and ketchup. I was broke cause I drank all my pay check up. There is a lesson in that. Just get a job doing whatever you can. Problem solved.

Letting another living being starve is very cruel, it happens every day and most people don't bat an eye. I know I am reaching for the stars here but in reality food should be widely available. You should be able to walk down the street and see an apple tree or some other fruit that you can grab one or two off of.

Western world has food stamps and the WIC program, free school lunches and other things to ensure children are fed. Adults too. I saw a girl at the dollar store. Basket full of cheese puffs, energy drinks, and other stuff. She used an EBT card. And she asked to get $7 cash back. It's all good bro. It's the system. But kids deserve food. They are entitled to food. Adults find the work around sure, but the programs, ever how flawed, are in place for those who cannot provide for themselves. I've never been on any program. I choose to man up, contribute and provide for myself. It's all a tricky balance for sure.
