More addicting than smoking!?

Depends on the gear you THINK you have to have.
A good percentage of my addiction pertains to buying the hottest new gear.
Im pretty sure after labor and damage to the house from growing I could buy the fucking weed cheaper but that takes a good portion of the fun away.
 
Growing to me is FAR more addicting. Ive been doing this for YEARS and it never gets old. Ive grown every way you can.think of. Aero, dwc, rdwc, nft, drip, ebb and flo, coco, rockwool, recovery, non recovery, halides, sodiums, floros, indoor, outdoor, greenhouse...you name it. It never gets old. I read all the books. All the trade mags. Used to try every nute and supplement out there. New fans. Trimmers (yuck), warehouses, basements. Wow. Ive grown hundreds of strains. Taken thousands of cuttings. Trimmed ALOT of fukin buds. It never gets old for me. And iam still learning. What does get old is the "mine or way is best" crowd that dont know jack shit about humility or growing.

To the point I automatically buy 6500K CFL every time I find them to veg seedlings with. It's addictive as hell.

I've been growing along time also. Since around '91 like yourself. (Longer if you count my closet at my moms house, and plants down at the creek:-D i'm 42. pretty much done/do it all also:-) NorCal in the house.
But I don't know how you aren't just flat out bumbed when you trim. I pay to get my shit trimmed. Other than that, it's a lovely hobby.
 
lol growing is worse then smoking bcuss it takes ten minutes to smoke and your fine it takes a few months to grow... its very time consuming im new so im spending all my free time reading and looking at journals and experimenting and investing...

harley i had a blow out on 4 of my 8u 250w cfl tubles in my flower room ... thats the second one in that room my plants are drooping in the front farthest away from the light... that is 100% failure on all of my horticulture 250w 8us in three months...i just ordered a 1000w hps will be here in three days.... is that an overkill for a 4x4x6 room with 8 plants im gonna of course add another 6 inch exaust fan ....

No way it's over kill. Always buy the biggest you can with lights. The optimal setup is a 1000-watt dimmable rig.
 
Oh yeah. Trimming sucks. Never did like it. I got friends that do most of it. And iam more than glad to pay them and feed them while doing it. I even get my mom in there every once in a run or 5. Lol
 
that will be 2x 6 inch exhaust 1 6 inch intake , 12 isocillating fan between lights and plants , in a 4x4x6 room , flat white paint 1000w hps , plents of cfls for side lighting if i need them
 
Ohhh I forgot the trimming UGHHH FUCK TRIMMING !, It's the most tedious thing about growing, But it's also strain dependent, the two strains I grow are my proof, I have one where the colas are damn near on top of eachother, an my Royal kush Which growers the perfect nuggets in my opinion, but I always feel like I'm trimming to much of the sugar leafs off
 
another Thing I do is creep on the marijuana plant problems section, I just like the familiarize myself with What all sorts of problems look like, Just by looking at other plants, I kinda lowkey like looking at fucked up plants more than I do looking at other grows going good
 
Growing is my favorite part I'd be bored as fuck if I wasn't growing ......and probably doing something else I'm really not suppose to be doing .....trimming is hella fun for the first four minutes lol.......
 
Yeah, and when it's 20 a g here, it's impossible to not grow and stay medicated. Even if you spend a couple thousand though, you can have your payback in less than 6 months - a year

i hate trimming after i see what the first couple plants average in yield is all im interested in
