we've got some action now!

hairs popping out left and right, this is very similar to last years grow. im pretty excited!

would anyone agree, that these look like they could bud for another 2 and a half months? that just seems so long to me. november in new england can be cold!

i know i harvested too early last year,(mid-september) i guess im gonna go by looking at the color of the crystals. theres no way to know for sure which of these will definitely need to be harvested when.

i topped off my pots with fresh soil and watered heavily with some strong. very stank smelling tea. p! u!

the final count at this point is 11 females, and 1 undecided. no hairs or balls on this one at all!

im happy i didnt have as many fems as first thought, its easier to take care of 11 plants lol

btw check my hashberry grow its coming along sweet! well i think so lol

thanks for staying tuned in!

:peace:

I think you mean the color of the trichomes, not the crystals. But yeah, its comin along nicely! Its gonna be a nice harvest for you :)

trichomes produce crystals, from what i've read. I dono, i guess its something to research :)

oh, and hows the situation with the purple coloring on tha plant? did you figure it out or no?

its hard to say about the coloring. ive been using my nutes and the buds are noticeably bigger each day, but the stem color is still reddish purple.

at this point im happy as long as buds are starting!

Purple stems can very often just be genetic. Or genetic along with the falling nighttime temps. Nothing to be concerned about if they're otherwise vigorous. I had to brighten it up a bit to make it more visible, but here's one of my strains with purple stems:

so its a definite 12 females.

some budding much faster than others. but i would say even the farthest along has a few months left in her of budding. but i really dont know.

im happy with the way things are going.

would you say a pound is a safe estimate for my yield?

12 bag seed females grown on a porch lol

here is a little bud action!

ive been watering with my tea as usual and once and awhile i let em go real dry and give em water with peroxide. this last time i watered with water and peroxide they plants practically jumped!

ive been thinking about the boot strap molasses. anyone had any luck with it? is it worth using on these plants?

overall ive been very happy with this whole experiment. i wont attempt this many plants on the back porch again but i think id like to try 3 or 4 with better genetics.

thanks to those who have repped me.

i cant wait for october!

some plants a head of others. a couple i think will be ready to harvest in a few weeks. like the one pictured.

others still have atleast a month of flowering. some of my plants look like a sativa leaf. could be the reason why some are behind others.

or they just dont like my porch.

thanks for the support!
