Update #8 - Froggy ain't been late

Well looks like a little tea and a change of position has helped but she's still uglier than a 50 cent whore in broad daylight. Who knows maybe she might yield a blunt or two :). Cup is just a rock of roots. At this point God, (and that little guy whose always winning the scratch offs :)) only know what's gonna happen next. But enough chatter.






Yucky :oops:. Well since you've made it down this far I got a feelin' you must really like to see leaves die. Am I right? Well this is how leaves are supposed to die in my book.

Took em out one by one for a photo shoot lol. Shes doing ok, I majorly fucked up these plants so i know they are not at their best but im a fairly new grower so its all in learning. The smells and frost though, my god ill be happy no matter what i get. I can tell this Pink Kush by smell alone is exactly what i was looking for. I am SO HYPED. Good Job everyone still in this!!

w/ very limited experience, You see anywhere from like 6" to like 3'+ (my tallest is 22") It varies wildly dep. on lights, medium, and the like (environment). It seems without a drip system, or hydro they are damn HARD to keep healthy. I water 2x/day and seems still not enough sometimes, + its hard to get feeding down for me. For me if you miss a water they wilt all to hell, top was bent toward the ground once, stem was spaghetti lol. If you do flood and drain or drip n get nutes right youll probably have monsters cause your plants will always have food, regardless of the 16oz of medium.. Hand watering, probably 1-2 ft each on avg as they rely on what the medium can hold. 16 oz of moisture and nutes cant sustain a huge plant for long. Just my thoughts, no gospel here. Post it if you do it!!!!

I plan to replicate DrBudGreengenes sog style in 18oz solo cups with vero 10 LED.
I don't want to hijack this comp thread, I'm on Paint drawing up some plans lol. I will post them on my own thread.
But basically I want to have 6 cups in a container filled with perlite, with water up to 1" from the top. NoobWannaB sip.
Organic soil medium, fed with teas/top dress.
The sip should take care of the watering and a good organic mix should help with the feeding...
You think I could get away with a 32" Height cab?

Not familiar with led but make sure they sufficient, tons of info in this section! Not sure bout the sip thing, i can visualize it but am not familiar, so if you got it from a post just try and replicate their procedure and results. Sounds like wicking so its like hydro sorta. idk about organics either lol. Don't quote me on it but I think you can. I'm setting up a 33 inch "cab" for autos right now and mine would fit in there. but someone like Old-School or JayRayV's plant was about tall as mine now when they started stretch! So i'd say if they're getting to be over a foot while in their natural veg you'd wanna train em (tie or bend) b4 they start flowering or early flowering before they really stretch. If 2-3x their height still leave you good, leave em be if you want. You'll have to read the situation and there's lots of variables incl. what strain you run.Don't take my word as ive only been growing for 5 mths.

TL;DR The first run may not be ideal, but you can figure it out and get away with it long as you do your research on what you wanna use! (underlined for importance)

Elemental Seeds Honey Bananas #1 harvested before lights on. Initial entry post 9/2/2015.Finish 10/30/2015. Buds are dense and heavy. Oil production was very good from Osrams ZelionHL 2x2 LED Indoor Horticulture Fixture. Smelled like strawberry banana smoothie for last month.
I will dry in 77degree area for 7days then toke on a J before my final weighin next week at this time.

Ive been so busy this week. It got completely dried out. But I managed to save her. She probably has about 3 -4 weeks left. It did cause deficiencies. But she smells amazing and pretty chunky and pretty friggin dense. Pretty frosty too.

Ok guys and gals?, we have reached the end of the road...
84 days from sprout and I can no longer continue looking at this "goiter dirt" cup mutt taking up space in my inda-gro flower cab.
Took her down today for my final update till the voting thread.
Did a little pre-trim and wet weight before hitting the drying rack. Will update final weigh in the voting thread.
My grow system performed well with no issues, just wish I had the luck of getting a better pheno.
This comp has been lot's of fun and I learned a lot of new tricks from watching all of the rest of you (experienced and new growers alike)
Looking forward to the next!

Sorry for the late update yesterday was hectic and I totally for got to post my update. I chopped her down yesterday I'd say 90% of her trichs were cloudy so she was ready to come down. She smells really good a slight berry smell to her. I'll get the weight of her once it's dry shes hanging right now than I'll cure for a minimum of two weeks than do a smoke report. Stoked to finish on time this go around. It's been fun and good luck to everyone else that's still in it. Happy Halloween!
