You don't want to pull more than 80% of the rated load for the circuit for a constant load like lighting. For intermittent stuff you can go higher. But yeah the plan is to cut the flower room in half and use the left side for veg and right side for flower. I can fit (8 ) 2x2 grids in what would remain of a flower room in case I wanna double up my count.
8A AC
3A dehumidifier
5A 600w HPS pretty much taps out (1) 20A flower room with fans and pumps
7A chiller
5A 600w (going to switch to MH for veg) leaves some room to work with on this 20A for veg room. I could put the 3A dehumid on that to have 75% load and add another 600w HPS to the flower room and run the flower room at 90%
Is 90% of a breaker too much?
The room itself is on a shared 15A so I guess I could put one of the 600w on that if I wanted to have 2 flower light setups.
My concentrate sits in a barrel for months. It's sealed so no evaporation, dark and indoors so it's pretty stable. So HGI sent me a catalog and in it says to use chem-gro concentrates within 2 weeks.
I sent them an email before I read this asking how long they were good for mixed and if i needed to use ro water for it.
@ttystikk
The larger quantity that's mixed, the lower the chances of it being off from the expected mix.Do you think its fine to make only 5lbs mixed into 11 gal.
I know you said you had less than consistent results mixing as needed.
As needed in a 100gal fillup would only be 200g...less than a half lb. So this is 10x that at least.
I have no idea why they might say two weeks. My 100:1 stock solution is as likely to go 'bad' as my bottle of soy sauce, for the same reason of high salinity. I think keeping it in a light tight container and keeping it temperature stable would help. I stir mine with a pump for a few minutes right before I draw some off, maybe they're worried about settling? Perhaps I should call them...Well obviously...25# would last 2 years and im not sure it would be good still especially since the manufacturer says 2 weeks for concentrates.
Ill just see what they say.
Gonna run with the 5lbs batches. Or just grow more weed.
Im not sure. Im gonna buy a blue 14gallon food grade hdpe container meant for fermenting/wine making on ebay for $30 shipped. Gonna keep it in a closet outside the grow room with a clamp lid.I have no idea why they might say two weeks. I strongly recommend stirring the sauce each time before drawing some out. Does the lid come off easily enough to do it?Im not sure. Drill in a bulkhead with ball valve/barbed assemby similar to my drain assembly on my rdwc except gravity fed not pump fed.
Yeah its an open top barrelI strongly recommend stirring the sauce each time before drawing some out. Does the lid come off easily enough to do it?
My 55 gallon drum has two holes; a small one I put the return line for the mixing pump through, and the 'big' 3" fill hole. I can stir with a stick- poorly, or just use the pump.
