Little mutant, worth growing?

I've been growing for a few years but haven't come across too many mutants (lucky I guess), but on this run I got one of those one armed weird ones, lol. So I was wondering if based on others experience if it was worth letting it go and see how it does or just plant a new one.

I've had 1 armed/mutant ones before, but not one quite like this. Normally those ones leveled right back out and grew normally, but I don't want to waste the space for a non-producer (that's really my biggest concern).

Here is a pic of the poor hobbled thing, lol, I may just keep it just because I like underdogs. Its a vortex (which means its regular seed, not feminized, so that's also why I question whether its worth it or not since I don't know sex):

Looks like its getting 3 leave nodes next, so maybe it will level out, but its pretty sideways, lol, should I just put it out of its misery?

Give it a chance.

My 2 cents.
Agree unless grow space is a real issue. I had one that started out like that. Then all my seedlings were attacked by my daughter's ferrets which we found loved playing in the dirt. Replanted and damned if they didn't get in again and the runt was the only plant that survived that mauling. It laid there for a week with my daughter reminding me that mercy killing a plant was okay. It stayed green. But while new seeds were hatching I left it.It finally grew - crooked as hell like a dog's hind leg from the start. KILLER BUD! And it was the only bag seed we planted that grow from some good stuff. Never give up.

haha, right on. I'll just let it go probably then. I know you can never under estimate the small guys, here is a pic of one of my small frys from a few years back, lol.

Jesus.

We have a mutant growing only 3 leaves each. I was ready to let him go but we bloomed him... Oddly enough he's keeping up better than some of the big boys.

I would think its too early to tell for sure what you might be dealing with...let it grow some more. One thing I've noticed, though, is that when you see oddities during pre flowering that persist, the plant (if female) usually hermaphrodites.

By the way, that big bud photo is killer huge.

Thanks everyone, I decided to keep it. It looks like growth is starting to normalize I think, lol, well see what happens in 4 weeks or so when I start sexing them. Hopefully "she" makes the cut. Haha.

That big bud is also a vortex, its my favorite strain to grow. Thanks for the up votes I might need to do another log on this one just for everyone to see how it turns out. :peace:
