i dont but on a commercial scale it has happened and it mentions in the article it is about an extra 10% seeds are persuaded female not 50% but i dont know there controls only mine so it just might be BS

Interesting - lets start hooking up our males to electrical charges and shock them to be female too.
I'm partial to the observation of putting my banana peals around my ripening seeds on the plant to turn them female......maybe that will increase the flavor too! Two birds with one stone.
I'm sure there is some effect - I do not believe the estimated change in numbers by percentage as being accurate...

oh yes i would agree on that for the even canopy because it would be hell climbing in a middle of room with hundreds of feet and plants to scrog lst anything in that matter where a clone grow even as dam near a perfect copy and i find clones roots work better for hydroponics indoors passive or impassive outdoors on the other hand i allmost 100% say seeds unless it is a very well established plant

I did like the book. Facts and comedy all wrapped into one.
You all should buy it and read the whole thing - The thing is. Good luck finding it! It's out of print and no one has any.......I wonder why?
Oh, and by the way BDOG. It's written by Robert A. Nelson with Mobius Rex and printed by Rex Research.
Much of that section or chapter (he does this a lot through out the book) is results of others work - he's just listing it with out attempting to confirm the results..to form his own conclusions or list effecting factors......

While there IS quality work "copied and pasted" it becomes a book that is a metaphysical journey into the absurd!

i wasnt specifically talking about your post my post was more so onto the other posters who were speaking.
it is always good to fact check before you do something to anything in this case a grow room

What I want to know is how many bananas do you have to put in a room for there to be enough gas exchange for this theory to work? Notice I called it a theory!
I think I will continue to throw the rotting food in the compost pile while I grow my plants naturally.

Jorge's got it going on. So does Greg Green and Ed Rosenthal. The point being they have made mistakes in some of what they believe too.
I find that some of these things are rooted in old world practice and myth. - NOT even close to everything they say- Those things simply do not hold up to modern, up to date, scientific testing and data anymore.....
Next thing we'll see is how crystal's increase yield and strength.....Don't forget to grow in a pyramid!

I will say again I put 1 bunch of bananas in with seedlings and I get no males my environment is also dialed in perfectly the bananas are green and I take them out when they yellow and I eat them.
Try it, you don't let anything go rotten, it is a fact that thia works you should just give it a go

I put one bunch of seedlings in my veg area and have a bunch of female plants. No bananas eaten.
I'm not saying I have never had male plants but it is seldom at beast. How small is the cabinet or box that you are using to house the gasses? Do you not exchange the air?
