And to answer your earlier question; I live in Colorado and people are constantly telling me that my quality- connoisseurs give no shits about yields- is among the best they're ever had.

So I'll heckle until you start A. Taking good advice, B. Stop giving same, at least until C. You produce something other than an embarrassment to the craft!

Firstly, what's your water saying guys? This to me depends on whether I'd be adding cal mag. Mine is only EC 0.3 from the tap and I don't add it. Any higher and im sure it'd have more than enough and be quite hard.

I'd only worry about cal/mag if I was growing with reverse osmosis water with EC 0.0. All NUTES Would fall through the floor without a foundation. So, adding a bit of tap water to ec0.2-0.3 would be ideal.

Next, I keep things simple. After buying loads of different bottles for years I realised that less is more.

My range is canna rhizo for cloning and seeds and also transplanting. Then bio grow after 2 weeks of nothing in All Mix with the flower bottle being introduced slowly. My strain hates for than 1 ml/litre grow. Increase the flower instead. I wouldn't use top max or any other boosters coz they can burn them. I used cannazym in hydro but soil has enzymes. I also have silicon but I'm lazy with it.

I tried B'Cuzz blossom builder after week 5. Get that guys, thats your extra PK BUT add a fraction of what it says. I ran out and need more. It's hard to get here.

I forgot to check my min temps for you but sure that it's dipping to 14-16C. That's our night temps. It's only goes to 5C in winter. Don't even need antifreeze in the car. Dont worry about cold temps (to 10c) but worry about humidity. An American grower called Willow told me that over coffee. She should know, her Dad is Soma.

Sorry the late reply, I've been giving a friend a cloning tutorial. She did a nice outdoor this summer. She's started indoor now.

I seen your impressive grow on other thread and u mentioned that u use 12 7L pots under 600w light and it looks like its 1 big bud in each pot, do u top the blue rhino strain or just let it grow natural?

Firstly I use 12 because at 30 Cms they will fill the square. I've had to put a new sq in of 15 pots and they are 25 cms.

Then they start their 12:12 and continue vegging. At around week 3 they finish their stretch and I cut off loads underneath. If I prune before this time I am encouraging it to grow taller. Not good.

This can feel a bit daunting if its the first time. Feels like you are chucking away your plant. Usually keep about 6 stems beneath the main cola. ALWAYS check the top canopy as you go. Just in case that bud is filling a space. You can also remove popcorn and just keep the few buds at the top.

Btw, the cold activating the colour only happens when they are developed and I know this coz I have plants in week 6/7 and also wk4. So after wk 5-6 when they are developed you can cool them to change them.

Thanks for the explanation, Ive been growing for about 18 months but getting piss-poor yields. One of my main problems have been heat so I bought a 1200w cob led light which has only helped slightly. I got a 2x2x2 tent and its divided with a 600w hps 1 side and the led the other but I aint getting 20 ounces out of the 2 combined!! Im trying 4 different strains right now to see if this improves yield,its like banging my head against a wall lol

The reason why it's blue because my grow room is cold. Please thanks for your advice I never had a problem from my set up but I do Ill know I look at the bitches five times probably more.
If something goes wrong I'll take your advice about 6.5. My soil and plant's are happy with 6.2 all is working thanks. And I'm really happy for your concern but please tjis is why I hate putting or commenting because it's like you all work for a hydro shop man.

The way I see it if it ain't broke dont fix it.
And raising or changing what I'm doing will cause other things to change too.

I DON'T WANT TO RAISE IT lol find another victim and be happy for me. I appreciate the experience and advice your giving but we have different grow inviroment and soil and food. It will never look like yours.
From when I started growing i been watching the plants and adjusting it took me 12 months next month since I started and Painkiller B is my 7ths flowering.
So I tweaked the engines to what I want and what they want we are both happy.and growing well with added tip from a friend i got 10 heads wich I'm happy with. Thanks for your help

anyway regarding the advice, the way i see it is its all good, if you dont want to take it then dont, BUT never shoot someone down, or it ends up like "did you spill my pint", ive gone backwards with my grows, and a bit of that i think is because i got cock sure and stopped listning, so im sort of starting again, keeping it simple, but even bad advice can be good if it makes you think about it,

Checked plants under led and realised that all the info is correct, led doesn't penetrate the grow like an hps light and buds are a lot smaller, so here's my question- like I mentioned in an earlier post my tent has a light each side, a 1200w cob led and a 600 hps, I only use the tent for flowering and its a perpetual grow with the plants each side about 4 weeks apart, Would I be able to switch the plants grown for 4 weeks under led over to the hps to finish off with a more intense flowering or would this cause some abnormality to plants?. sorry for the long winded question lol

You've mentioned heat problems a lot. Have you solved them? If not, then shuffling plants around is just more rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Environment is key, even more important than nutrients.

yeah heat not a problem at the moment due to a shift to colder weather, once Christmas is over im going to invest in a tornado fan as advised on other uk thread so im prepared for weather change

Excellent! My girls like a breeze under the lights to help with transpiration. Be sure you've got proper lamp to canopy distances and I think you'll be fine. If advise against swapping your plants around. They do get used to their environmental conditions, good or bad, and changing it up stresses them. Just finish the girls under the light they have.

That's what I was concerned about but wasn't sure if applied so much because the both lights are in a 2x2 tent and are not cordoned off with a curtain so it would have been just a case of sliding them from left to right, I found it mad that a plant on the edge of the led light spread was growing right towards the hps light, obviously easy amused lol

Strange- IME, they grow towards more blue lights. Later I read that blue triggers a stronger phototropic response.

I got no idea, too scientific for me lol, only research I did about led was that the only ones worth using is the cob leds so that's what I got, suppose to be equal to 1200w hps but that is BS in my opinion
