Isn't 60f a tad on the cold side? I always read to keep between 65-69. And yes I also heard of people using ro that still get the rot. I love dwc for the fact that the plant only takes what it needs, and I've still hit great numbers even after a bout with the pyth.
And as for their feed chart it is ridiculous. I've never run that high using dwc

whats your secret sauce?

pythium is tricky it only takes 1 drop of infected water to cause issues. There is no magic bullet, but starting with pure sanitized water will greatly increase your success. With the addition of H2o2 to your filtered water will only increase your success. Cross contamination is most likely the cause of infection. Simply rincing off your tester with tap water, then useing the tester in your ro water could contaminate it. Good housekeeping and a sterile environment is key. An ounce of provention with worth a pound of cure. You must be pro active with pyth, don't wait until you get it to start fighting it.

I know alot of people using RO, add tap water to help buffer the solution. That could also be a source of contam..

But I mean there is a maximum amount of air that water can hold right? I always thought 65 held your max amount possible if using a regular air pump. I forget what those super aeration ones are called, but I don't have them so it doesn't apply to me. I shall have to do more reading.

As for the current culture chart being low, you most likely won't believe me but I am currently run a mmar grow using soil less, where we don't exceed 1.1 EC. The results have been, on average, spectacular. And dwc I always run less.
In my years of growing I have slowly (painfully) learned that less is more.

Also what is your final flush method? Sorry, but I see an opportunity to pick your brain lol. I've been growing for a long time, but only picked up dwc a little over a year ago. Could use 10years of experience

The cheapest water soluble nutrient works just fine, or mix your own salts. I rarely exceed ec 1 in my UC RDWC. less is defiantly more in dwc

Well if you are agrima, good for you. Takes balls, determination and a solid plan and execution to open a large facility running strictly water culture. I saw some videos of the decontamination measures in there. Impressive.
And if you're not agrima, then that's a hell of a grow show you built. Good shit either way.

peroxide is a temp solution as it will disinfect the entire system. including anything good for the plants!

but it can be used as you have continually, but its expensive!!! Im cheap!!!!
. If you do things right. You wont have pythium.
Simple really but you know that.

don't buy ancient forest, its just peat moss. spend 10$ locally. ideally, buy compost from a local source, i get 20 gallons for 8$.

basic recipe is: clean water source (r/o or spring) add a handful of compost, a teaspoon of miccorizae and a teaspoon of trichoderma and a tablespoon of molasses. brew for 48 hours in an environment similar to your garden in temperature so the colony is maximized as it brews and during the innoculation. you need an airstone, pump, air line and 5 gallon bucket w/lid or a shirt to cover it so no light gets in.

- 1 cup per gallon of total system water for fixing problems
- 1 cup per 10 gallons for general system health maintenance
- add a cup or so directly to roots every 3 days or so
-in dwc pour right over the root crown to "wash" the nasty shit off and to get the goodies onto the roots and add the rest of the dosage to the reservoir.
