I alllllmoooost purchased the Optic 360 watt. Then everything got kinda sketchy with the company transferring the business and all that mess….I guess it was a sign! I'm so glad I didn't buy it, now! I mean, it probably would have worked just fine for my needs, but I'm glad I waited and researched the scene a little longer.

I almost pulled the trigger on PLC's light, too….and it is also a nice light -a very nice one….but they were out of stock and I couldn't wait any longer.

As luck would have it….I read here at RIU, everyday, and I just happened to open up one of JimmyIndica's threads and saw that HE was part of a new lighting company and had been working on some stuff that was even more "next level" technology….AND, when I contacted him, he was able to hook me up with an order right away.

Well, I pulled the trigger on his new VERO 29 240 watt model in the 4000K temperature range. This will be my flowering light in my 3 X 3 tent. I have my plants set up in more of a 2 X 3 configuration inside the 3 X 3 space, though….but I know things are going to spread and stretch once I flip (sounds like yoga!). It's going to be a jungle in there! I have high hopes that the light will be just the ticket! It looks like it came from the future! :) I just hope the UPS guys are nice and gentle with it!!! :)

I will keep you all posted! Looking forward to it -a LOT!!!

Hello! Very nice and orderly thread. I have a question, since I like to bug everyone here. Have you flowered an entire cycle with th 4000ks? Or could you refer me to a thread, where that has been done? I suck at using the search function on RIU. It is very bad at finding what I want.
I am considering going diy with 4000k, because supposedly the flowers are more frosty and less chunky, when comparing to the 3000/3500k. Can you testify to this? Despite its apparent appeal, I have a lot of RH, where I am. So that might actually not be a bad deal. Im just trying to make the best solution for my situation.. Thank you very much. Nice to see you defoliating. I usually do the same, when I have the time. It normally sets me a week back, but it lowers my RH a lot and allows for some more penetration. (I do not want to start a huge fight on his site, just making observations)

I don't like to fight neither. I don't have time for it.
The 4000K has high blue/highreds which make IMO the go to Full cycle emitters. This is my 1st documented cycle with the 4k.
Many use 3500,but I personally like more blue in it for the cycle.
I thank u will find out that feed program has more to do with frostiness than the temp. Just my opinion though.

1.3 g/per watt. Its little better than average of what Ive been getting With the med to large yielding phenos. I had little more coverage area that wasn't used and going with my best 2 plants under each fixture this next run
