Looked closer to 20 feet to me but if you don't appreciate accuracy in an adrenaline rush, so be it. Never said it wasn't overkill. The first shot dropped him. Firearms training would allow for another 1-3 rounds. And in most situations, the guy holding the gun is lucky to find his mark 50%.

This cop was proficient in firearms, if nothing else.
