Microscope trichome pictures: am I ready to harvest?

Here is more of the plant. On the main colas, I would say roughly 40% of the hairs are brown and curled in.

These are Lemon Haze from Emerald Triangle. They are supposed to be 65 days to harvest, and I'm on day 45.

Sounds like they still have a way to go. I just got the microscope today, so I'll just check each day til I start to see a few brown trichomes.
Also remember that if a breeder calls for 65 days that doesn't mean from flip. It takes a week or better for them to transition to flower. If breeder calls for let's say 8 weeks it will likely be 10-11 weeks before done. Breeders tend to base it off the fastest plant. That and plants mature different under different lights. That with the added time of transition will make the wait longer.

I'm just giving you a reasonable expectation of the time.
Same goes for auto flower.

I am in a buiseness where you use your nose a whole bunch. I'm a chef, the only way I can describe it is an over rippened fruit smell most of the time. Some kinda like dirty socks. lol.

Once you have been doing this enough, you can smell when they are ripe. I know i'm gonna hear shit about this, but, you can tell not just by looking but smelling, ask a blind man.
True that, I just walk into the room now when they're close and know when they're ready to pull, particularly strains that I've run a couple of times. One of the signs I still use and don't see mentioned much is when they slow down water intake (healthy plants of course).

Shit,I thought I would be pummeled by skoffers.Honest,I'm old school, never used a microscope in 35 years of growing.

Took a while before I understood that in amsredam they go by buds forming, not the switch. Felt like a retard, wondered why my buds took 2-3 weeks longer than they claimed.

You have let them go this long, let them finish. Will be worth it. You still have a little ways to go. I usually harvest at 5%-10% amber.

Thanks guys, nice to hear all the advice. I was pretty sure I was about 2 weeks away, but as it's my first time, no harm in asking! :-D

My friend here that I normally buy from has agreed to front me until these plants are ready and I can pay him back, so no rush. It's exciting though that it's almost pay off time! :-D
