Russian jet shot down by Turkey

Iraq? They're authorizing Russia to bomb any Turk standing on Iraqi soil once the deadline is reached. Iraq doesn't need an airforce when they've contacted Russia to clean house. There's what, fifteen hours left? How fast can a Turk run in sand?
So then Russia's Air Force will get taken down. Turkey does have an Air Force on par with the Russian one, it's been proven. They've shot down a Syrian MiG and a Sukoi. One from a SAA the other from an F-16. Russia would have to go full scale war which would be disastrous to them at this point especially since the Russian Central Bank offloaded about 90 billion in cash reserves.

If by disastrous you mean glorious. Full scale war to unite a people against terrorism and the NATO states backing it?

Turkey couldn't handle Iraq, let alone Russia, China, Iran, Syria, and now North Korea even. They've all chosen their side and I doubt a flaccid NATO will come to the aid of a member state acting as an aggressor on foreign soil. I wouldn't be surprised if France backed Russia and Greece jumped in.

Read up on the news as well. Iraq has not requested it, Russia has asked for a UN Security Council meeting regarding it. Iraq has asked Russia to help get rid of Daesh, because the Iraqi military has blundered so horribly. US military officials have also been in disbelief over what the Iraqis are doing.

France, UK, and USA will probably veto anything Russia wants because of Russia vetoing almost everything regarding the Bosnia Genocide which they were supporting via the Serbs.

Also Russia has literally nothing to gain by going to war with Turkey because then Turkey can close the Bosporous strait.
Russia could fire missile after missile from the motherland and deny Turkish air via naval and ground based AA. Eventually the Turkish people throw out their head of state and negotiations take place.

You have an incredibly twisted sense of glory and a view on world politics. More can get done via cooperation; North Korea can't do shit if you think so I know how much you know and it's nothing; an all out war is not glorious in any sense of the word.

Nothing unites a people like a war effort fighting for a just cause. Instead of phony WMDs it's state sponsored terrorism.

The deadline has expired. Russia has not started bombing Turkey. Iraq has not asked Russia to bomb Turkish forces. Iraq has now asked NATO to pull back Turkish troops. Why? Because the Shia government does not like the idea of a stronger Kurdish (Sunni) force in Northern Iraq. Turkey was invited into the region, but once they started to train Kurds that's when it became a huge problem. Turkey has also stated that they will not deploy more troops into Iraq - though they are unwilling to remove their troops (which I think they should if Iraq is putting up such a shit fit over it), citing that the troops are necessary to ensure the protection of the Kurdish training base.

Turkey hates the Kurds. Any link that you can find that Turkey is training the Kurds?

Turkey hates the PKK because the PKK wants part of Turkey as Kurdistan. Turkey has no problem helping out the KRG, because the KRG wants autonomy in Iraq and that's pretty much it.

"Another senior Turkish official said the soldiers in the region were there to train Kurdish peshmerga fighters. Turkey has close relations with the Kurdish autonomous zone of northern Iraq, though it views Syrian Kurdish groups across the border as hostile to its interests."

Edited to add: Also, Turkey recently has floated the idea of recognizing a Kurdish state outside of Turkey. They're mainly looking to Iraq because of the division between the Kurds and the Iraqi government. They used to be very very opposed to this because of the implications to their own territory and the Kurds there, but I think they figure if the Kurds get their own independent state they might stop attacking Turkey and just go there.

Also, in 2005 Iraqi Kurdistan established a sister-state relationship Oregon lol.

I just read this. And it makes sense Turkey recognizes a Kurdish state in Iraq. They should also stop oppressing Kurds in Turkey

Yeah, it's funny (in a dark sense) that they've called the Kurds in Iraq their "brothers," while they've massacred and repressed Kurds in Turkey. Slowly, surely, hopefully, the situation will improve. That's about the only one thing Erdogan has done right which is improve the rights a little bit. However with the renewal of the PKK fighting against Turkey, I doubt the situation will improve sometime soon.

Now lets look at what the North atlantic treaty countries think already Germany , and Czechoslovakia are thinking something different,,
But what is Turkey all about ?????
In Turkey, as internationally, Erdogan has a history of pushing his own agenda, whether it's against the tide or not.
There's almost no freedom of the press there -- just ask the journalists locked up while covering the recent elections, in which Erdogan's party did surprisingly well after a summer poll flop.
Conflict with Kurdish people inside and outside Turkey continues. Turkey took no action against ISIS for a year and a half as the group advanced across the border in northern Syria.

And when Erdogan finally decided to act militarily in July, the targets were more often Kurdish groups fighting the Islamic extremists, rather than ISIS itself. Turkey did grant the United States permission to use one of its air bases for anti-ISIS missions after a suspected suicide bomber attacked the Turkish city of Suruc, but the two allies have different agendas.
Even as the United States sees Kurdish fighting groups as a hope to beat ISIS, Turkey continues to attack them. To many in Turkey, the prospect of an independent state for the Kurds is seen as a greater threat than the religious extremism of ISIS. To much domestic acclaim, Erdogan has moved Turkey away from its secular past and resurrected Islamism in Turkish politics.
dont say them kurds, pkk and ypg has more armenian than kurds.

Turkey is a fine spot to put a NATO Base that can challenge Russia, water on three sides, and no far from Russia.

Putin wants a Blue Water Naval base in Syria, when that`s done, Turkey`s NATO base is nullified and will be forced to relocate, that`s when the bad guys will move in and Why Turkey is such a bitch to America.
