How do you suppose you get all the illegal handguns off the street if countries with near gun bans can't do the same?

A lot of the time the gun is legally purchased in one State, Brought to another, reported stolen or just sold to someone on the streets. The bad guys usually get the gun from someone that can just go get one legally.

Checks on these people can revel what they were up to, for instance a guy keeps reporting guns stolen or cannot account for his weapons. Right now those checks are lenient and maybe too much.

Nothing will stop it, but better legislations can reduce it. Obama was correct when he stated that guns are too easy to get.

Both Canada and Mexico have provisions if you're a felon you aren't getting in. Mexico had some legislation changed in '13 that made it more difficult to get a visa. Just because you can get a passport doesn't mean you can get in legally.

I bought my first A2 for around 200 bucks brand new. A hand full of surplus parts for 75 bucks and a 50 buck drop in sear, great fun. Man, people have fucked shit up.

Like if you try to cross the boarder with a felony they have always declined you unles you get a judge to do a something or other

Long story short, I ended trading the sears away for tooling, the logic being I could make my own. Who would have thought.

When I say full auto bcg (bolt carrier group) those are legal. It doesn't make them full auto. They are mil spec and better than after market.
