It rocks as smoke Bass....I loved that breed.

I will make it over SG. Keep a clone for me, if you can.

to return the favor)

Onward and upward, checking the ladies.

JD
Yeah I need to get an indica or indica dom back in my life for end of the day.
My outdoor was a flop so my Urkle and killa watt didnt work out

I am thinking that the PPMs in my hydro system ought to drop over
time as the plants feed on materials in the water. They do off-gas
and, I suppose, might "piss" in a sense, if you will pardon the term.

What should I see PPMs do over time in a very well aerated RDWC system?

I actually shelled out the dough for enough of those really smart (deep)
8" square pots that they sell at the hydro/grow shop. I will be trying out
some Pro-Mix HP for the hot part of the year. I will store the DWC buckets
in the garage.

This will allow me to work more breeds too.

PPM's will sort of measure how hungry your plants are. So like if you mix the rez to 800. 2 days later it's at 600. That means they are eating more nutes relative to the water they are drinking... so you should maybe make your rez 900... keep them happy. The other way is true as well. If you start at 800 and it's 1000 2 days later, then there is too much nutrients in there and you should lower it ppm count by adding more water.

So really when you find the proper level it should stay around the same. :)

Another sunny day here in the garden.
Transplanted the Plumeria.
Transferred the worms from the trashcan to the black compost barrel to try and keep them warm and fed.
Put the clones outside for some sun.
Watered and fed the garden including the Purple Haze and the Mystery Dirt #1, which looks to be revegging.

I will post pics after my nap!

Cheers,
Mo

That ought to warm you up a bit.

I know that my water levels drop over time....it is hot in my tent,
in spite of my using the ducted fan. It is a tad over 80F by most
afternoons.

I will add water.

Got up to 77* according to thermometer at canopy level attached to pole in tent today.
I think it was 70 outside tent

JD my tent gets hot too. I solved that by removing a vent from my ac and hooking some duct line to it, pumping cold air into the tent. Now it never gets higher than 77 degrees.

Regarding your ppm what jig posted is correct. Ideally you want your water levels to drop while the ppm stays essentially the same. It means your plants are taking in proportional amounts of water versus nutes and they are happy. If you find the ppm levels rising, it means your plants are taking more water than nutrient and you should cut back a little.

Good news on the change taking hold Bass.

That is great data BLJ. Thank you for taking the time. I think that it is not really rising
that much....it has stayed within about 20-40 PPMs from where it ended up after
the last water/feed.

Everything is looking as happy, or happier, than they have so far, and so I decided
at the beginning of the week that I am just going to leave them alone. I did put a dribble
of pH-Up in yesterday, but have honored my intent otherwise.

I will try to get a before-lights photo, as the HPS simply will not show vigor or greenness

P.S. I got into the tent and took this shot of Headband:

Then I moved to capture the Critical Kush which might be doing the
best of them all, and the Kessils fired on....oh well.

Have a great day all!

You see, pretty much perfect happiness...I watch for yellowing starting down low,
but it looks good.

JD

P.S. You can see the one Crititcal Kush top in the background....its charm stands out
even in that dim view....

P.P.S. and by "charm" I mean "frost"....look at the angle-view of that leaf!!
