hindu kush named so for the region it originated from… until sometime in the mid 2000's or so it was the only kush… all that other shit is just a name
You are correct on the first half. All "Kush" is named for the region Hindu Kush.
As for the second - It is ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY NOT the "only" kush!!!
It has not much to do with India other then a small area in the North west as some else suggested.
The region covers area's of Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and Tajikistan and a little bit in India like I said.
ANY landrace from the region is considered a true "kush". So with that in mind, you should search for LANDRACE seeds from those countries. Pure Afghans are still available as are a cpl of Paki kush's and of course Hindu Kush.
Some say that G-13 is a true Kush as it came from the region as far as we know. Others say it is a government construct from the Old Miss facility. The decision is yours. The only G-13 worth buying is from Dr. Greenthumb in my book.
True landrace Kush's I can find right now.
These are all from the Hindu Kush region - no Moroccan or Nepalese hybred or Indica cross's, only PURE KUSH region Landrace's
