They are different sizes. I got different breeds. I let them mate and get different colors.
I also let sets hatch out kind of staggered.
I get free range eggs. We also kill and eat them. That's why the different size. Some are dedicated to laying and the rest food.

That's only a few. Got about 50 chickens. I make a little extra selling eggs and chickens.

Did you know not all eggs are the same? Some are better for frying and baking and some are better for boiling. Did you know you don't need a rooster to have eggs? Do you know the eggs you buy in the store are three weeks old? Meijer seems to be the freshest I've found.
