Ive been having a lot of pointy leaves that are yellowish which I was thinking it was possibly zinc? I also think they've been having sulfur deficiencies a lot of em have sorta woody mainstem trunks with dots and the tips of the leaves are Styrofoam green and i know it's not nute burnView attachment 3566790

Pretty sure its not nute burn either but rather (no) nutrients at all. These plants appear to me to be too mature for your choice of containers and are becoming deficient in lots of things. NPK for starters and depending on what that medium they are planted in , possibly calcium and magnesium. However, these are just MY observations and opinions and may not actually be signs and or symptoms of an actual condition. You should consult with a professional before considering treatment options or self diagnosis.

Agree. Those cups should be long gone by now.

I was originally starting out with a sog of bag seeds while i was establishing a mother and was saving the $2 pots for the best ones but i went out and got some more half gallon pots to put a few in- the 2 bucks will probably add a shit ton more yield with healthier quality

Someone had told me adding calmag from botanicare will throw a lot of other things off because of the nitrogen adding acidity and that the ratios of nutes gets thrown off and that i was recommended to not use that but to add calcium acetate + epsom salt man its hard to figure them out cause they didn't respond too well to the last feeding gosh trying to figure out where i went wrong, besides ph @ 6.5 and using fox farm trio+ ffof, does anyone else have an opinion on other additives for deficiencies?

Here's pictures of my mother plant im going to look up the definciees on groweedeasy ill post my own observations any help is very much appreciated! I think some tips curling down was a sign of nitrogen toxicity-it is a very lush dark green, i saw purple stems forgot what that was a sign of, the bottom leaf with some dry brown crusty burns i think that's potash but i need to check myself and the skinny new leaves are zinc and possibly iron i think. The ph of my nutes has always been 6.5 and i just fed her yesterday 3tsp big bloom 1.5tsp growbig and .5tsp calmag from botanicare ( im pissed i haven't gotten my ass epsom salt + gypsum instead) she was transplanted just a week ago or so and fed like 6 days ago

I've been having very similar issues to you! I haven't decided on if I should buy the cal-mag from the hydro store or go with the alternatives. Do your red/purple stems feel more flimsy than the others because mine do

no the purple stems I saw were on my mother which is strong as fuck the stems are like telephone cables that are stiff so if it was flimsy it would still be stronger than the others, and az2000 has an awesome explaination for why using calmag to broadly treat a specific cal or mag def, I couldn't find the link but you should search for it he shows to make calcium acetate for a cal def and recommends Epsom for mag in specific ratios

What are you feeding your girls? I use Ffof ~%35 perlite and the trio plus a bit of calmag from botanicare (getting some epsom salt today to replace for mag n sulphur def) i don't really think adding the extra iron nitrogen and calcium for an original mag def helped me out much lol

Sounds like "grow store advice".... How freaking high were you guys?
Acidity is caused by Hydrogen. "Pondus Hydrogenii"

fox farm trio+ ffof
I'm not a fan of that combo. But you paid for it... might as well use it. The trio pack is VERY HOT.... use it sparingly. It is very easy to burn your plants with that combo.

Transplant out of those silly little cups and put them into smart pots so they can breathe.
Adding Botanicare's cal-mag to your Fox Farm regimen won't hurt you like you thought it would.

I have a thread with my problems if you want to check it out.

No its RIU advice and acids donate hydrogens so there's no telling how nitrogen could for example be presented as ammonia nh3 which could possibly want to swap a hhydrogen for something else, its definitely a lot more complex with the relationship between a whole host of environmental factors which includes excess crap turning into salts

Yeahh i noticed how easy it is to burn i used 6 tsp of big bloom last night it recommending 4 table spoons for every other watering! And it's been about day 50 from seed so i expected that the big bloom would help the roots and fix the micronute defs since ive used only about 2-3tsp every feeding1nce/wk and BOOM they got fucking raped all my hard earned plants are looking illish i fucking h8 ff nutes, what do you recommend i can't wait to toss these bottles out

Well it didn't help the initial mag def or it did but then other things got out of whack after 2-3 times using some cal mag and i used a half tsp with like 2-3tsp grow big and like 2 bloom and theyre getting nitrogen toxicity kinda bad but I'm going to use Epsom salt i think tomorrow to also combat sulphur n mag def
