The biggest problem i noticed is if you can't keep the humidity under 55% at 82 degrees it will cause the chiller lines to sweat and make the humidity spike past 65% when they start dripping. I run my chiller at 52 degrees with a 6 degree buffer.

Oh ic, might just end up getting a mini split and call it a day. Im keeping my water at 64f at the moment. Starting to get impatient lol taking forever for roots to drop. Atleast they are looking better and top leaves are starting to grow and there not dead. Hopefully soon

cool mini split will work well. They aren't the greatest in Michigan, gets to cold over the winter for the compressors to work right. My
Chiller is a sub zero chill King and i still opted to put it inside. They said it will run fine outside over winter but seems like it would be pretty hard on it.

Yeah those are exspensive, i would have kept it in the house also lol. We had a late winter and its cold as shit right now in the low 50s and high 40s. Which is nice, dont have to fight temps or aircool anything. And i vent the room air into my room and heats it up. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Yeah im super excited, wasnt sure if anything was happening lol. Only running 2 at the moment, upgrading and expanding more sites after this grow. Prob 12 13 gal ropaks sites and another ac/de light setup.

Added 2 18 gal rezes to store ro water, should make system water changes easier. Just fill both up the day before system change. Almost want to fit these with bulk heads and use these instead of the 8 gal ropaks im using lol

Do you think the tubs are sturdy enough to hold water? I tried to use the blue Rubbermaid tubs before and they would hold water but would get deformed and bow on the sides like they were gonna explode.

Most likely not lol, just going to use them to store water for my system. They do make these rubbermade tuff totes, with the yellow lids and squares on top. I used one to make a huge aero cloner one time. There very well made.

Ok, drained entire system, took it apart. Reemed out the holes a little bigger for the bulkheads and made sure they were clean and smooth. Installed bulkheads again. Reassembled the system filled with ro about 1 inch below net pots. Added 25ml aqua flakes a and b. 20ml of DM zone and ph'd to 5.6. Upped ppms to 200. Water temp is at 64f and fired this baby back up. No more leaks

Only 1 plant has dropped a root so far hopefully the other will catch up, will be checking tommorow. The upper leaves are really starting to get bigger and are praying to the light. i think there about to finally be back in the veg stage. Pushing the de mh bulb to 630watts, Been running lights 24/7 since the start. Running the hood with no glass at 32" is working great, also not aircooling hood. So far things are going smoothly.

Once the plant is established, boom they blow up quick. If you are using your ac/de light that might actually be too bright. Those lights are rediculously bright lol. Maybe shut your ac/de light off and run them under a t5 or small single socket MH. I did mine under a 400w

Also I was looking at your net pots, you might run into an issue with them falling past the lid and into the Ropak container. I had the same issue with mine. As the plant packs on weight it will push the net pot through the lid. It wasn't a big deal in dwc. I would just pick them up and resupport them but they would drop hydroton into the bottom of the bucket. This could be an issue for you if a piece of hydroton is to plug the input side of your pump and cut off water flow. Maybe something to think about. Probably give your net pot a little push from the top and see if they are susceptible to falling.

I have a 8bulb 4ft t5ho i can use. I have the ac\de about 3.5ft above the tops, shouldnt be a problem as im not seeing any light stress or burning.

I cut the holes in the lids so that the lip of the net pot rests on top of the ropak container. Lips about 1/2", already had pushed down on them when i first built them and should be able to hold up to the weight.

Some rocks actually did fall in the system in the beginning and got caught in that black in line filter and slowed water flow lol, would have sucked if it got stuck in my water chiller!!!
