So it's been a long time since I have grown anything going to be starting again soon I have never used aero cloners I will be growing in a 1.2mx1.2m tent under 600w hps growing medium will be coco and clay pellets I was thinking to go from cloner to netpot with the pellets then soon as roots appear outside the net pot put into a 2l pot then into 7.5l then to 15l I will have 4 plants total in that space any thoughts on the matter would be much appreciated

I have used an Aero cloner.
I have gotten mixed results. You need to have it on a timer for sure! If not you will get less than ideal results.
I would suggest going from Cloner to 2lr pot and skip the net pot. No need to be transplanting that much mate.
Putting alot of stress that isnt needed.
What I do is from Cloner to 1 gallon Smart Pot then to 3 Gallon Smart Pot after that.
Works well.
I grow in 100% Coco.

Well I was going to just put the net pot straight into the 2l pot I thought it would be easier to put in the netpot with clay pellets than straight into coco

Agreeing with @Trippyness

Probably not really necessary use a net pot at all... And that is way too much transporting. Your thinking... 2in net pot to 2l pot then into 7.5l then to 15l...

Whoa, Dont make your job 2 hard mate

So what you think is best then I want to finish in 15l pot

Screw that...any study on your part will show that may plants suffer transplant shock and spend much time(days) trying to recover

you got roots at 2 inches long...go straight to the 15liter pot, no messing about, unless you like the above poster want transplant shock..?

as cloning is but cambium engineering at its finest, teasing out rootlets from under the 'bark' why hold yourself back leave the timer and heater(25c77f) on 24/7

Don't you get a better root mass if you pot up and also you have to be careful how much you water if you go straight to a big pot

Not at all, once you have roots straight to the dirt ..

sure,, they get a shock, you minimize that using the simple and practicable steps,

by doing the potup or moving from cloner to dirt at dusk

so they recover overnight for the new start in the morning ...guns blazing

an application of vitB and aspirin water handles the shock real well

(aspirin at half a tab to 8 liters of water)

do note ..the more root mass you have to start with the easier the move

but you will learn that and much more the more you do it

good luck

Ok well think I might go from aero to 2l then to 15l I will be vegging in a smaller space so 15l pots probably won't fit will have to see what the 7.5l are like instead of 2 will just have to watch out how much I water them and probably let them veg a bit longer when I move them into the tent and 15l pots or if I could use 7.5l pots would the roots still fill out the 15l pot if I flowered soon as I pot up because flowering doesn't begin for a few week does it
